Convenience Congestion
I had inadvertently booked a smoking room. I had my 90 year old mother with me and is very sensitive to cigarette smell. Once in the room I realized that it was going to bother my mother though it was not very strong at all. The hotel was pretty booked that weekend; however, I asked the manager if I could get a new room and explained I had my mother with me and he immediately made the change for me and had me and my mother in a new room. The next day I got a call from the front office and was asked if by change my mother had misplaced her cane (she left it in the first room and didn't remember where she put it) and I confirmed that she could not find her cane. They immediately brought it to our room. The staff was very, very courteous.
