This hotel is set right in the heart of the resort yet five mins stroll through narrow streets to the beach.Staff are friendly, everywhere is clean and modern. Rooms are great too. Best of all is the restaurant, we went full board with two fussy kids. The choice is amazing , something for everyone and cooked well. My heart sank when we were leaving. Lovely memories.

Great 4 night break at Alegria. 10 men all enjoyed it, clean hotel. All inclusive was great plenty to eat and drink. Staff very friendly. We even had great weather. Short walk to the beach and bars. Will definitely return.

Lovely hotel spotlessly clean and the staff were very friendly. We booked half board and enjoyed the many different options for breakfast and evening meals. The hotel is situated perfectly, just a short walk to everything you need - great bars and restaurants located all around we would definitely stay here again.

Hotel basic but clean . Food passable ,Staff polite drop off and pick up location is about 500 metres from hotel. Loret de mar has a lovely beach . Streets are condensed and confusing so you never get bored going about resort. There are a lot of good restaurants in the resort .

Absolutely brilliant arrived at 11 am and check was at 2 we were given our all inclusive wrist bands and went for lunch, the food is amazing lots of choice all hot and fresh, steaks cooked to order drinks served at your table, the staff are friendly and helpful. The room was large and spotless, big comfy bed and balcony over looking the pool. The outside areas are spotlessly clean with a adult only sunbathing area.the location is fantastic with shops and restaurants right on the doorstep. Pleased ignore the bad reviews this hotel is lovely.

Recently back from 11 nights at this hotel. Unfortunately the transfer drop off point is further up the road .. but just cross the road, and if I remember right take the 2nd on the left, walk down and you will come to the hotel which is situated in a lovely square. I had many coffees at this square and loved watching the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There are 2 cafe's, a tobacconist/newsagent and a bank within this square. As I have walking difficulties I hired a mobility scooter for the duration of our stay for 110 Euro's (75.00 Euro's for the week) which was arranged through the hotel at reception on the day of our arrival. The day we were due to leave the hotel very kindly obliged us by taking us up to the pick up point with our suitcases which I was so grateful for. We were on the 1st floor overlooking the pool and were very happy with the room .. pretty basic but was adequate and all we needed ... was cleaned daily .. the beds were comfortable and we had no problem sleeping. The food was really good .. more than enough choice i.e. steak/pork/chicken/lamb/turkey/veal, as well as couple of varieties of fish, of which 3 or 4 was on offer most nights, along with paella, vegetables and wide assortment of salads, cheese along with other accompanying starters and side dishes .. we were truly delighted with the full board option. Although I enjoyed breakfast .. always having a couple of fried eggs from the 'show-cooking' the absence of fried tomato's and mushrooms to their selection would have been welcome. Entertainment on an evening was so-so .. nothing fantastic but I did enjoy watching the Spanish guests dancing. There seemed to be many nationalities whilst we were there and everyone seemed welcoming and friendly. At no time was there a rush for sunbeds and the sun could be enjoyed on each afternoon due to surrounding buildings. We went to the Tuesday market and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is very close to the centre of shops/bars/beach and so we found its location excellent. The wi-fi at this hotel is free and extremely fast. Our holiday was for a relaxing break and this hotel offered just that, and so based on our experience I would happily recommend this hotel. Thank you Plaza Paris !! x

Stayed here 3 nights b&b , the bus drops you off at top of street as the roads are too narrow which means the hotel balconys are overlooked by other hotels and appartments some of which are quite close , room size ok but walls very thin so you can here people talking not even shouting and doors slamming .location was good and good choice at breakfast , fridge did not work reported it twice no one came !!!! So went to bar for ice bucket they were very reluctant to give us one until we explained that we had no fridge , definately not a 4*, would not stop here again .

This hotel was not good, at all. The first room I got was dirty, no light in the shower, big water stain by the outlets and a dirty table on the balcony. I complained and the answer I got was "you can look at another room if you want, or we have a superior room for 15 € extra a day". I looked at the other room which was better but after I had stayed there for one night I saw that the refrigerator didn't work, I found dirt and hair in the bathtub and the air conditioner didn't work. And in the last night I also found a little friend in the bathtub; a silver fish, you know those who like dust and dirt? Don't stay here. The rooms are very outdated with only one outlet far from the bed.

Stayed for 9 nights in this hotel. The beds are very hard and we could not sleep the first 2 nights, asked for multiple blankets. Once we re-did the whole bed, it turned out the mattress was upside down, and once we flipped them over the spirals were no longer digging into our backs as much. Also, the room was really hot and the air con was not working. We went down to advise of this and get it fixed, but were advised that the air con works automatically depending on the weather outside. This might be due to staff having bad English, as before we booked this hotel, read the reviews and didn't see any complaints about air con. So perhaps the staff just couldn't explain properly what was wrong. Because of these issues we could not sleep properly most of the nights.

My friend and I booked to stay here for 4 days a while ago. In the mean time we checked the reviews on here and were a bit disappointed at the negative feedback. Now I'm back from the holiday I am happy to say that the negative reviews were a load of rubbish! To be fair, most of the bad reviews were in the summer break when it would be very busy which would in turn increase the number of bad reviews. I could see that maybe in the summer it wouldn't be as relaxing (kids/lots of people etc...) However, I thought that the hotel was great! I would definitely go back again. The staff were very good and I must give credit to one of the waiters. He only served me a couple of times however he was always working; breakfast, lunch and dinner. He always said hello to me and was always smiling. The room was cleaned every day and there were no disturbances at night. I was after a relaxing holiday and I loved that I had the choice to be lazy by the pool, paddle in the smaller pool, or relax in the spa! The beach wasn't that far away either but I didn't fancy getting rid of sand for the next 5 years of my life! The food itself was tasty, there were a variety of foods everyday and it catered for all tastes (not sure about gluten free/vegan). I must also mention the deserts! Although they were small cakes...they were delicious! The 'home-made cake' was so sweet yet light and the other cakes just melted in the mouth. They were perfect after a lovely main meal. I would say that the only thing that wasn't great (and this is only a small detail and is my own fault) was that the gentleman on reception spoke little English. Now, I must say that I speak Spanish wherever possible because I don't expect to go to another country and speak my mother language. However, I am not fluent and it took some time for myself and the receptionist to understand each other. We got there in the end however I can see how that may cause some guests to avoid asking questions to reception if there is a language barrier. So all in all, it was a great break away and I hope that the waiter gets the recognition he deserves :)
