Place is dirty and way overpriced.................,,.,,,,,,,,,,
Did not have elevator for handicapped person to get to second floor. Requested ground floor rooms and did not get one . Did not seem legal that they didn't have a way to accommodate persons with handicaps
Found used stockings in our drawer they were disgusting
Very old and run down. Crumbling steps, no elevator. Holes in bathroom wall. Door locks refused to work 3X. Dirty towel in bathroom and beer bottle cap on floor upon arrival. Leaky shower. No maid service at all one day.
Telephone wouldn't work and they wouldn't replace it. Yogurt was served in an open dish and probably same yogurt was reserved the next day.
The Days Inn at Cortez appeared to be clean with friendly staff, however we were extremely disappointed and checked out of the hotel at 2am (asking for a refund!). There was a spider in our bed and several flies/ mosquitoes in and around the room. We asked for clean bedding only to be told that none was available. We were told we could have a second room so we could leave our belongings in one room while we slept in the other room (not sketchy at all, right?) In a rush to check out, we left an iPad on the bed. It was gone when we returned 30 minutes later to claim it only to find a women's jacket laying on the bed instead. Needless to say, I recommend staying at the brand new Hampton Inn down the road!
When we arrived and opened the door to our room, we noticed that the bed was unmade and the room had obviously not been cleaned. we went back to check-in and the young lady on duty apologized & offered to have someone clean the room while we waited. We said we did not want to wait as we had been on the road a long time and asked what else could she do for us. She upgraded us to a king suite for the same price.
Good value. Rooms were clean. Good location on the way to Mesa Verde. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was fine, with cereal, yogurt, toast and waffles. However, stay away from the fake omelets with processed cheese inside, they were terrible. Also, the hot tub was not working. Still, very good stay and would stay there again.
GOOD HOTEL THAT WAS CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. CLOSE TO EVERYTHING AND BREAKFAST WAS GOOD !
Great location for exploring Mesa Verde. Also they had a pretty good breakfast and nice staff. My only complaint was that the door in the room had about a 1 cm gap all along the frame through which you could see the outside. That having been said, the room still stayed warm so it was not uncomfortable. Overall, I would say that it was a good place to stay for one night to see Mesa Verde.
The location is great, the hotel is ok. The first room we got you could not lock the door, but that w as s fixed
We had a second floor room and it was quiet, dark and comfortable. I slept like a baby.
We got in late and were welcomed by a very friendly staff member. The room was small, but clean. A nice continental breakfast was available in the lobby area, but no staff members were available. The parking lot was dark, but close to the rooms. The room worked for one night, but we wouldn't recommend for an extended stay.
Room was very dated. Bed was comfortable, but pillows were like rocks. TV did not work correctly as we only got 'over air' channels and no cable channels #ESPN, HBO, etc#. Desk person did come to our room and try to reprogram the but it did was not successful. Breakfast was very minimal and fruit was canned. Would recommend with reservations.
Very clean, great staff and convenient location with some nice amenities.
Average hotel/motel experience. Decent breakfast. Close to Mesa Verde national park.
Average experience overal. Liked the proximity to Mesa Verde National Park. Liked the refrigerator in the room. Did not like carrying 2 suitcases up the stairs to the second floor. Would be nice if there was the posibility to state a perferance in floor level while making a reservation.
Rooms are definitely outdated and could use a major update. A bit of an old, musty smell in the room. It is very close to Mesa Verde National Park and it was cheap enough to make up for its outdatedness.
opening the door to this large and clean smelling room after 8 days in the AZ wilderness was like finding an oasis! Friendly staff, well appointed room, comfy bed, fridge and microwave, coffee, a laundry room. My large dogs were welcome. A bargain!
