Hotel Giò Wine e Jazz Area

Fun hotel

We had a relaxing stay at this fun hotel. We stayed in the wine area and enjoyed both the wine and the chocolate. The tunnel connecting to the Jazz area was cool, and had running videos of great jazz concerts. The restaurant was first rate. We needed a laundromat at this point and found one a 10 minute walk away. We had a treadmill in our room which was a nice touch.

Hotel Sorella Luna

Beautiful old hotel right near St Francis Basilica

This hotel was in a beautiful setting along the ancient streets of Assisi which I found to be a very peaceful place. The view out our window of all the old rooftops of Assisi was wonderful to me. The staff was all helpful & my only regret is that we were there only 1 night. I would love to go back to Assisi & would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Hotel Pallotta Assisi

Right in he middle of old town Assisi

We had a lovely time is Assisi, a real step back in time with wonderful restaurants and terribly helpful locals. A really beautiful spot and not just for a pilgrimage to Saint Francis who was born there and has a marvelous cathedral built in his name. Hard to describe, but a must see. I wish we cold have stayed longer if just to walk the streets . Some towns are just like walking in a painting and this is one of those,

Hotel Fontebella

Wonderful, relaxing, awesome views

Assisi is all up and down. Getting to the hotel from the bus stop would have been easier if I'd known my way ahead of time, but once I got my bearings, I realized it was a great location. I had a room overlooking the valley. The hotel was quiet, which I like. One evening I heard singing outside from a building below the hotel. It was very beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant gave me the opportunity to try some local dishes. The only puzzling thing was the restaurant was closed 2 of the 3 nights I was there. But the concierge gave me some good recommendations for other places to eat within walking distance and at reasonable prices.
