the Scandic Spectrum is a very pleasant new hotel across the street from a lovely canal open for public swimming. It has the best spa, pool, gym, spin, yoga facility i have seen in all my international travel. The staff was attentive, the facility and neighborhood felt safe. The only thing i could speak negatively on was the hamburger in the restraraunt is not up to american standards. And the aggressive push for sustainability made the climate control and light switches extremely frustrating to operate
This is relatively new hotel reasonably priced, clean, minimalistic with comfortable beds. I like the location a lot. Close to airport and to the center of Copenhagen.
Exceptionally clean & comfortable hotel in a lovely area, across the street from the waterfront. Several blocks from restaurants but the hotel restaurant has excellent food. The only problem is availability. Rooftop not open, Sunday- Monday. Early close for dinner. Marriott across the street is open for lunch & dinner. Beautiful view & good food as well. Front desk staff is very young & not always accurate with info.
This new hotel is approximately 1 year old as of April 2023. Kind staff throughout and very welcoming. Was very excited with my family to explore Copenhagen and start the morning with a hearty breakfast. Although a very nice selection and offerings, towards the end of the vacation I was eating less and less because no change after 5 days. There was also a misfortunate evacuation 1:30am with fire alarm. Although it was a false alarm, no notification or information was issued to guests afterwards for inconvenience. Location was OK with 12min walk to major train/metro station.
Nice hotel. Fairly close to downtown and other main areas of the city, and a few block away from the metro. They rent bikes of all sizes which was extremely convenient. All the staff was very nice and helpful.
Good location. Missing a coffee machine and mini fridge in the room.
