This apartment was positioned very near to Nyhavn and there was a metro station an easy five minute walk away, making our everyday travel experience around Copenhagen simple. The apartment is up around 3 flights of stairs, which we was unaware of, carrying a pram and a toddler up and down the stairs everyday was an issue. Although the living areas and the bedrooms of the apartment were clean and well presented, the bathroom was a completely different situation. It is dark, no natural light and smelt awful. The floor in the shower was dirty, covered in limescale and mould. We did make the staff aware of this and was told that someone would come to clean it, however we never noticed a difference during our visit. One day we arrived and the bathroom smelt of bleach but the shower floor still appeared the same and after a few hours the bad smell returned.
The sofas in the living room were so uncomfortable and the outside furniture was old making relaxing of an evening very difficult, which was what we needed after exploring with a toddler all day. Overall I would say it is not family friendly for young children but the location was ideal.
