"We arrived around 1:50 pm. We were told that guaranteed check-in was 3 pm, which we knew and understood. We waited in the lobby approximately 20 feet away from the clerk and in his full view. Other guests checked in including one woman who came back and asked for a room change which was accommodated. At 2:45 we were getting nervous as we had a wedding to attend and needed to get dressed and then drive 20 minutes away to be there by 4 pm, so I approached the desk and the clerk said, "yes, it is ready". I'm sure the room was ready before I asked and I doubt we would have been told if I didn't go up and ask. He didn't have the courtesy to inform us as we were just sitting there in full eye view of him. The young man was not impressive."
