The room was nice and clean. The beds were good. My grandkids were terribly disappointed that the pool was closed. There were pictures of the pool but no mention on the website that it was closed. I should have read the reviews as one mentioned it.

It was bitterly cold outside but the staff was warm and welcoming. Room was quiet. Breakfast room tastefully decorated and plenty of food choices.
The hotel is probably the nicest one in Concordia. And, it is fine. But the fixtures are low end and the wall are thin. It is overpriced for the level of hotel, but then so are most Holiday Inn Expresses.
A severe storm hit Concordia the night we stayed in this hotel--a real rager, with 80 MPH winds--but inside the hotel, the storm was whisper quiet. We didn't hear anything or anyone all night. Besides that, the hotel feels very new, very modern, and extra clean. The pool and hot tub are open all night, if that's your thing. It's a perfect example of how good a travel hotel can really be.
