We stayed here for three nights while we toured around the area, the hotel is handy for como (by bus) and very handy for the train to Milan, with the station just a few hundred meters away. We were given a warm welcome at reception, all the staff we met were really nice. The room was spotlessly clean, we were however given an 'accessible' room with an adapted bathroom and low shower, not ideal for us but we just assumed the hotel was full and made the best of it. The TV had a chrome cast feature and the room had decent (free) WIFI, all of which made it really easy to watch things from iplayer or nexflix from our phones. The heating / air con seemed to have mind of its own and kept switching itself off... not ideal for when we got back to the room after getting caught in the rain! lol. Breakfast was a basic continental affair, but all was fresh and yummy, with juices, nice coffees, nice pastries, cakes, ham, cheeses and breads. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would defo go back
Good hotel, clean room, very goog breakfast, Nice and friendly staff. The location its a little bit away from the center.a lot of parking space in front of the hotel. In global its a good hotel. I recomended to everyone.
Stayed here for a night while visiting the lake, area with a friend. Very nice basic bed and breakfast with all the basic facilities that you need and a very short walking distance to the lake, area. Within walking distance from late, station it took us approximately five minutes. Nice and clean. Nice reception. Enjoyed.
...we thought when we first entered the building. The only really smiling faces where the ones of the two girls that we met at the reception in the evening and in the morning. They were helpful and friendly but everything else was quite cold, our room had an empty feeling and we were happy to drive on to the south the next morning. Also the location was not far (in km) from the center of Como, but in reality it was up a hill and in another (quite not so shiny) part of the city. Taxi would have been expensive in the evening, the receptionist told us...
Ok first front desk staff was very helpful and friendly but the elevator was broken when we arrived so we had to haul our stuff up to the first floor. Rom was big but a HUGE Stan inside the bathroom wall like someone dumped a cup of coffee over the wall,I guess housekeeping has vision issues or i a, not sure how the could have missed this to clean up. The bathroom sink had a big piece broken off...... Also there is water damage underneath the window what makes me wonder if there are mold issues behind the wall in the family room Ac took a good while to come on and function. There is free parking out front and paid parking below. The neighborhood well does not look like the best place in town. But it’s close to the freeway it has free WiFi. So there are positive aspects of staying here we have not tried out the showers yet the beds where reasonable comfortable and clean Would I recommend to others I am not sure. It felt more like a dorm rom to me and yes it’s a budget hotel but there are budget hotel and there are budget hotels. We choose it for it’s convenient location to the freeway and within a 3 hr radius from our home to stay overnight and start early the next day on our cont travel
The room was large and the bed was comfy and good. The walls were dirty and the 7 euro per person breakfast was just about 5 euro too much per person. Staff at reception were kind and helpful and spoke English. One elevator was out of order but the other worked... when we checked in.. next morning that was out of order too so dragging suitcases down 3 sets of stairs wasn’t as fun as it sounds.
The room was perfect, very clean and comfortable. To access the building you can also use a code so the arrival time is not a problem. Right price since the B&B is not exactly in the center of the city. There are many buses serving the area and a lot of facilities.
Serena, the receptionist was very helpful and friendly, she spoke great english! The room was spacious and clean. Hotel is 3 minute walk from bus stop into town. Breakfast was nice. Lake Como is beautiful, however its hard to find somewhere to swim in the lake.
We stayed here for3nights. It is a 10 minute bus ride into Como which was easy & regular. There are not many places to eat nearby, but you can get a pizza or eat at 2 breweries ! The hotel is very modern, big comfy room with an excellent shower. We didn’t have breakfast... having read the reviews we agreed with others, there wasn’t a great deal of choice & it was served in a very small & hot space. If you are happy to be 10 mins from Como & have a car it is an ideal base for exploring the area.
This is no close to the lake share but it's 10 min by car. The hotel is affordable clean and the staff is very friendly. I recommend this hotel for chose Who dont want to pendant a fortune on hotel and still can envoyé Como and it's lake
