The room was clean and charming. Yaiza, who coordinated check-in, was fantastic — she was responsive and had excellent recommendations for food and things to do. Good location close to the lake and only 5-10 mins walk from San Giovanni train station (depending on how fast you walk). No view from Suite 8 to speak of but I wasn’t hanging out in my room much, other than to sleep. I would stay here again!

Yaiza was great! She helped check us into our room. She gave us excellent dinner recommendations & helped us know where to find our lake tour the following morning. She was so kind & helpful. The room was absolutely charming. And very close to the train station & to the Lake.

We had a great experience with the hostess meeting us to show up the place. She was very friendly and helpful with all her suggestions. The apartment is in the heart of everything. Restaurants and bars all around. The train is a 10 minute walk and the lake is 2 minutes away. Ferries and busses to take you wherever you need to go. The place is very spacious and comfortable with a nice area outside to relax. The bathroom is very big and the bed is comfortable. I give it a 10 for cleanliness, location and hostess.

Very large three person room. Outstanding location in the city center. Easy to walk to both train stations. Outstanding restaurant and bar options nearby and right by the lake. Yaiza Is an amazing hostess with perfect food, bar and travel recommendations. We loved Bar Hemingway (amazing bar and apps) and pizza at Donnarumma. Highly recommend Alessia’s Place!!

Alessia's place was absoutely fantastic. The apartment itself was stunning, with gorgeous furniture and a huge, beautiful bathroom. It also had A/C which was a bonus on the hot days. The location was perfect in the old town - steps away from a piazza full of restaurants, and only a couple of minutes walk from the lake. The staff could not have been more helpful - they gave us loads of information and tips, which improved our holiday immensely. If I ever go back to Como (which is likely!) than I will only consider staying here. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

This penthouse is very spacious, beautifully decorated, in a safe area near several restaurants and coffee shops. It’s also very close to the lake. Even though it’s close to everything and it’s in a lively area, it was very quiet and private in the apartment. Yaiza was very friendly and helpful.

From coordinating our arrival at the property a week in advance and meeting us upon arrival was a nice touch and change from the usual lockbox check-in experience. Yaiza was punctual, friendly, and ready to share the local secret spots for dinner and experience lake Como. Very pleasant, just don't get your keys mixed up.

First Visit To Como

The king size bed was incredibly comfortable! The apartment was very, very clean. So impressed! The apartment is also VERY quiet and has a lovely little veranda with two chairs and a table to enjoy the sun and fresh air. Very convenient to Lake Como. Approximately 5-10 minute walk to the lake. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance. Head down side streets for even more options. Plenty of gelato stores available too! 😊 The property manager provided excellent communication and very useful recommendations that made our stay wonderful and avoided wasting of time. We highly recommend staying at Alessias Place!
