I visited Columbus, Indiana to spend time with my boyfriend. We booked the big king sized bed with Jacuzzi and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The bed was soooooo comfortable, the bath was luxurious, the people were cheerful and the room was huge! We will definitely stay here again in January. Yay!
We stayed Friday and Saturday nights, October 20 and 21 because my daughter was getting married in Brown County and we live in Bloomington. That would just be too much driving in way too much traffic. I was skeptical about the cleanliness and quality of the hotel but I was pleasantly surprised! The room was clean and spacious. The Jacuzzi tub was awesome! This hotel is a great place to stay and relax. Surprisingly very little highway noise for a close as it is to the highway. Close to restaurants and shopping, nice indoor pool, really nice staff too.
Our stay here was just right. The rate was reasonable, room was clean, and the amenities were nice. We enjoyed the pool and hot breakfast. The only complaint I would have is that there was no thermostat in the room. The air or heat was either always on or off; it was hard to maintain a consistent temperature.
My wife and I spent three days at Sleep Inn. It was our second stay in less than 2 weeks. I cannot praise the staff enough. Derek and Paula were a delight to work with. Our room was spacious and had a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. There was room enough for my wife and me to spread out. Breakfast was fine. Location was perfect: just off the highway and very fast drive into the center of town. One visits Columbus for the architecture. It's a living museum of mid-20th century modern architecture. There are a number of good restaurants in town. You'll enjoy Sleep Inn.
This was a nice large suite, comfortable bed and a clean hotel. Several fast food restaurants within walking distance. The bathroom had a jacuzzi with a shower. Wish there was a handrail to get in and out of the jacuzzi. Also wish there were towel bars in the bathroom. All in all this was a nice hotel and I would stay there again.
Breakfast was not up to the standards we have found in other "Comfort" hotels . We have stayed in many "Comfort" hotels all over the country and over many years and your breakfast was not what we would expect to find. No other negative. People were great and facility very clean.
Ok, I must preface this with the fact that I did not actually stay overnight here. When we tried to get a reservation to join the rest of our family, there were no rooms available. But since the rest of the family were there, we spent a lot of time here over the weekend. My family's rooms were very nice, seemed to have all the amenities and were clean. The breakfast area was large and the family told me the breakfasts were hot and lots of variety and tasted great! The pool was small but good. Water could have been a little warmer! All in all I wish we'd have been able to stay here instead of where we did end up.
We needed to be in Columbus on short notice and the first few places I checked did not have any rooms available. So we were glad to find this room but were worried that it would be crowded and noisy. It was fine, though. Has a nice outdoor area where we had our morning coffee. Coffee was available all day, which was nice. The room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. The wi-fi was good, too.
My Wife and I have stayed in a lot of Motels but this Motel was very clean and had a fresh clean smell. We slept very well and and the bed was comfortable. I can tell the cleaning employees take pride in their work. Thank you Jessica and your staff for awesome clean rooms. We also appreciate Paula in Guest Services for making sure we were satisfied. I wish all Motels could meet the high customer service standards and clean rooms you all provide. You set the bar high. Thanks again, Bob G
The rooms were very nice and clean. I loved that the room had a shower only, instead of a tub and shower!! A very friendly staff! A very good breakfast the next morning. Columbus is a nice town to visit and tour. We went to Lockett's, who had Brighton jewelry!! Also, Zaharakos 1910 ice cream parlor and museum. They had good food and ice cream. We loved the music from the huge organs!
