I spent a week at this hotel visiting family and had a very pleasant stay. Comfortable quiet room, bed was wonderful and nice chair and ottoman (with floor lamp) for reading. Wifi good, AC fan worked well and quietly. Keurig machine was on top of cabinet containing fridge and microwave and a little hard to reach. Great breakfast and conveniently located. They are in the process of changing the way they offer toiletries like shampoo and conditioner, and there was none in my room - front desk gave me two of each, enough for the rest of my stay. Parking can be a little limited at times but not bad. I will definitely stay here again.
This hotel is convenient to the MSU campus. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The staff is what sets this hotel apart; they are professional and courteous. The breakfast is good and well stocked. We always stay here when in Starkville
I spent the night in Starkville for a wedding and chose this Holiday Inn - and I was happy with the choice. The staff was gracious and accommodating in assisting me in checking in early, and overall the staff was very friendly and very helpful. I also found the room to be very spacious, comfortable and clean. It’s in a nice, convenient location as well. Overall a very nice stay, and the staff’s hospitality made it all the more enjoyable.
The only reason that I did not give this Inn an excellent rating was due to the fact that the signage along the roadway was not completely lite up and made for difficulty in finding the turn in. Front desk help was great, very accommodating. Room access was clean and comfortable. A quiet and relaxing stay.
This property is not new, but fairly we well maintained. The furniture showed some wear, but wasn't worn out by any means. It was a little hard to find (located behind Ruby Tuesdays). Clean, and reasonably priced. I would recommend better pillows at all IHG properties, so that is not unique to this hotel. Not new, but no surprises and a very good option when in the Starkvillle, MS area.
It’s your standard HIEX. Except the juice was watered down at breakfast, turkey sausage, yuck, my king mattress was a bit too comfy and pretty worn out. Had to have the desk people come and reconfigure the TV. Booked a 2 queen room,,,the upgraded me,,,yay,,,except I needed two beds, Pretty average which isn’t the case usually. One more shot.
Very nice hotel! The front desk staff was awesome! They were kind and very helpful. The room was clean and the bed/pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious but the ladies that were working there were not very cordial.
I stayed at this hotel for one night. Upon arrival, I was greeted by kind staff and wonderful air conditioning. The hotel is in a prime location, about 5 minutes from Mississippi State and close to many local restaurants. When I arrived in my room, I was surprised to notice that the air was on when I went inside which was a pleasant surprise. The beds were very comfortable. Unlike many other hotels, the room felt very empty. The closet and tv were small. The water pressure in the bathroom was odd. I am 6ft 3 which is kind of tall, but the shower head was about at my neck so I had to bend down to shower which was inconvenient. The hotel also had a lack of shampoo and conditioner. The wifi was above average for a hotel of this price. The breakfast was significantly better than other free ones. The cinnamon rolls were tasty and so was the coffee. Unlike most holiday inns, this hotel did not serve pancakes which was a disappointment Getting a late checkout was quick and easy. This hotel was Good, but as most hotels, it has its flaws.
Very pleasant stay one of my favorite places. Nice quiet rooms, attentive staff. Did not try breakfast though but will next time. Room look newly decorated and pleasant. Very clean and well worth the visit and great place to stay. Front desk staff were and are super !!!
We arrived late and walked in to smiling faces at the front desk. Check in was a breeze, card info saved, 2 keys and we were off to the room. We noticed the modern large dining area across from the front desk, breakfast times 6:30 am to 10am. The room was clean, all but a dead fly on the desk, and there was a microwave and small fridge. The TV was small but had alot of channels. The shower had very good pressure and bathroom was roomy. The king size bed was comfy but the covers were too short so we had to scoot down into the bed in order to get coverage. Overall, the hotel was meh... nothing to write home about and definitely not worth the price I paid. The hotel is surrounded by eateries, Ruby Tuesday's, Cook Out immediately next door.
