It’s your standard HIEX. Except the juice was watered down at breakfast, turkey sausage, yuck, my king mattress was a bit too comfy and pretty worn out. Had to have the desk people come and reconfigure the TV. Booked a 2 queen room,,,the upgraded me,,,yay,,,except I needed two beds, Pretty average which isn’t the case usually. One more shot.
Very nice hotel! The front desk staff was awesome! They were kind and very helpful. The room was clean and the bed/pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious but the ladies that were working there were not very cordial.
I stayed at this hotel for one night. Upon arrival, I was greeted by kind staff and wonderful air conditioning. The hotel is in a prime location, about 5 minutes from Mississippi State and close to many local restaurants. When I arrived in my room, I was surprised to notice that the air was on when I went inside which was a pleasant surprise. The beds were very comfortable. Unlike many other hotels, the room felt very empty. The closet and tv were small. The water pressure in the bathroom was odd. I am 6ft 3 which is kind of tall, but the shower head was about at my neck so I had to bend down to shower which was inconvenient. The hotel also had a lack of shampoo and conditioner. The wifi was above average for a hotel of this price. The breakfast was significantly better than other free ones. The cinnamon rolls were tasty and so was the coffee. Unlike most holiday inns, this hotel did not serve pancakes which was a disappointment Getting a late checkout was quick and easy. This hotel was Good, but as most hotels, it has its flaws.
Very pleasant stay one of my favorite places. Nice quiet rooms, attentive staff. Did not try breakfast though but will next time. Room look newly decorated and pleasant. Very clean and well worth the visit and great place to stay. Front desk staff were and are super !!!
We arrived late and walked in to smiling faces at the front desk. Check in was a breeze, card info saved, 2 keys and we were off to the room. We noticed the modern large dining area across from the front desk, breakfast times 6:30 am to 10am. The room was clean, all but a dead fly on the desk, and there was a microwave and small fridge. The TV was small but had alot of channels. The shower had very good pressure and bathroom was roomy. The king size bed was comfy but the covers were too short so we had to scoot down into the bed in order to get coverage. Overall, the hotel was meh... nothing to write home about and definitely not worth the price I paid. The hotel is surrounded by eateries, Ruby Tuesday's, Cook Out immediately next door.
Rooms are great, large rooms and very comfortable beds, front desk employees where very friendly and their is lots of restaurants close by as well, highly recommended if you are in the area looking for a good night sleep
My wife and I stayed one night while in the area to visit family. The hotel is in an excellent location for access to restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, but the room, hallways, elevators, and lobby need to be updated.
We always stay here when visiting our son at Miss State Univ. it is always clean, quiet, safe feeling, and ready. Breakfast is always ready and never disappoints. The rates are reasonable. We also have the option to bring our dog for a one time pet fee if needed. Nice pool, too.
We just stayed a weekend there while in town for a wedding. We had a great rate from Hotels.com. Our room was very clean and smelled good. They were doing remodeling on the first floor and the hotel was still clean downstairs. The staff that greeted us at the front desk was very friendly. The breakfast was hot and kept stocked. My only negative was our room only had 3 towels and we were a family of 4 checking in. That was an easy fix.
Room was very comfortable (as usual) and the breakfast is always excellent. The staff are absolutely some of the sweetest people I have ever met!! I haven't stayed in any other hotel in Starkville but I've been pleased with this one for the last 2+ years so why change?
