We made a reservation and paid ahead on line through Expedia. When we went to check in, the clerk told us the payment had not cleared yet, that we needed to pay again and get a refund in the morning. We showed him that the payment cleared on our credit card as paid. He insisted we still owed money. When we started to call Marriott, he said “oh it just cleared”. We believe he was trying to get extra money out of us. This is unacceptable!

No keys

Got in late and when we got there they couldn’t find the reservation. Finally found but then we were told the system was down for the key cards so the attendant walked us to our room and opened the door to let us in. We had no keys to the room!
