The hotel is decent but there was constructions going on all around. Very noisy! Staff is a bit laid back and the soap dispensers were not refilled the very first day of my stay. The taxi they recommend is way more expensive than the local cab.

Stayed here for a trade show. Only the 6th floor has air con. Hotel was unbearable on the other floors. Nice bar and breakfast, but forget sleeping there in summer. I'm sure it's lovely when cold outside. The construction noise started around 7am so helped ensure I wasn't late to the show. Nothing to do close by.

We liked the hotel. Very nice decorated and cute details. Near the Rhein river. breakfast was excellent. The room was a bit small for 3 persons and it was not so clean (behind the curtains and under the heater), a dead spider was always there. Also in the bathroom was the shampoo empty and also the tissues. I called reception and they brought it up.

We were there for 3 nights. Good beds. Good pillows. Good floor. Clean enough. Nice that there were some sweets on the pillow When we arrived. And also shampoo and soap in the bathroom. We had the shower in the bad, that was ok. The only downside is that they are renovating the whole area around the hotel. So on a weekday you need to use earplugs when you want to sleep in. And we missed some form of airco or air cooling., it can warm up really quick. there is a tram station with in 5 min walk, just ask the desk. Line 3 and 4. And breackfast was great. Enough choice for everyone. And because we stayed 3 nights the bar tender regognized us, that was lovely.

I stayed at this hotel whilst visiting a trade show at the Koelnmesse. The hotel is only a 15 minute walk from the Messe. The rooms are not very large but are modern and have everything you need including a mini bar. The beds are good, but a bit odd as you get a double bed with 2 single duvets, plus quite odd square pillows. The building next door was noisy but this won't be there forever so don't let it put you off. Breakfast was good with a great selection and the price is good, particularly as it is so near to the Messe.

We stayed for one night en-route to Berlin. Hotel was easy enough to get to by car and the car park was free. That said we got the last space and it was only 5pm. The area around the hotel is under renovation as they are trying to improve the look of what appears to be local authority housing. As a result we were woken up around 7.30am to the sound angle grinders and hammers banging. Shame really as the beds were comfortable and the room was clean. You can get to the centre by tram which is a short walk through the residential area and they run till quite late. That said it's not the most pleasant of areas to walk back from late at night. Overall the hotel was nice but let down by the surrounding area.

Last year I was nearly every week in Cologne. At the beginning I booked always the IBIS Cologne Messe, but the staff of this hotel is impolite and the rooms sterile. Then one friend recommended me the Burns, Fair and More. From the first moment the staff was so friendly, warm-hearted and absolutely service orientated. The interior and the rooms are very stylish and clean. The breakfast buffet in the morning let you have a good start in the day! The value of money is super and if I’m coming back to Cologne I will book that hotel.

Located in an out of the way area but still an easy safe 20 minute walk to the Lanxess Arena where we went to a concert. The hotel was well looked after and the bedroom and ensuite comfortable and clean. Great breakfast which was extra. Welcoming staff. Easy check in and out with free parking.

Modern hotel, big and comfortable rooms. Good facilities and nice breakfast buffet. Rooms have a nice size, clean and modern style. Beds are comfortable, and quite big. The only problem from my point of view that they are two separate single beds assambled together instead of a dabble bed. Breakfast buffet has big variety of food, juce, yogurt, and bread. And all food loocks freshly prepared and taste delicious. I recomend the hotel, it has a great balance, quality price.

Need a bed with a nice breakfast for an awesome price? Look no further! Being located close to the Cologne Fair and easily accessible by car, this hotel is very convenient for a stopover stay. You get free parking (something not very usual in Cologne), a clean and ok-sized room and nice breakfast for around 80 Euros per double. Although the room may need a little update, the bathroom was perfect - a huge shower, plenty of space around the sink and a full set of toiletries. The bed was nice and comfortable and we slept very well - until the construction workers at the site right next to to hotel started their day at 7:30 am. Breakfast was plentiful and nice, but regrettably a lot of things were wrapped in plastic (butter, marmalade, breakfast meats) and the waiters and waitresses did not clear the tables frequently. The ladies at the reception compensated this with extreme friendliness! No frill, no fuzz, just a decent room for a decent price - definately worth the money!
