Very clean and comfortable rooms, very cushy beds and pillows; fast, free WiFi and USB ports for charging. We liked the in-house restaurant and bar--this was a family reunion, with about six couples staying here (plus 5 or 6 that live locally) and we spent a lot of time in the restaurant/bar catching up. All the staff was friendly and accommodating. A special thanks to John, in the restaurant/bar, who took extremely good care of us. We appreciated the free water bottles from the front desk. Breakfast is not included, but the buffet is only $8 and includes a very large variety of good-quality food and beverages. We will definitely stay here again at the next reunion.

The hotel is easy to get to off the interstate. The employees are very welcoming and helpful... Yolondes is the waitress and bartender. She is very delightful and upbringing. She always has a smile on her face. A very nice person.

Stayed at this hotel for two weeks for buisness at the start of November and it was great. The room was typical hotel with a clean bed, fridge and microwave. Overall nothing terrible or above and beyond. The one issue I did have with my shower maintenance and housekeeping took care of the problem the same day. The doors and walls are not thick and you can hear people in the adjoining rooms. I didn't feel this was a problem except for one night when someone had a very stern conversation with someone on the phone and 0300 in the morning. I had breakfast in the hotel every morning and it was good. I would definitely book the room with breakfast to make things easier. The girls who serve in the morning are shy at first but became more conversational with time. The front desk folks where excellent. Every time I had a issue they were attentive and curious. The hotel is has two restaurants within walking distance along with a gas station. There are multiple other food and activities less than a mile away but I would drive due to having to cross the highway. Overall, this hotel is is a good location and has great people. I will stay again if back in the area.

Johnnie at reception made out check in fast, professional, and easy! We appreciated that after a long drive! Our stay itself was good; the rooms were mostly clean. The sofa seat and ottoman need some spot cleaning and the linens had some stains on them as well. Overall we would stay at this Hotel again.

I must say that I had probably one of the most pleasant experiences I have ever had during travel with the woman at the front desk named Yolandes. She is very personable, extremely accommodating, easy to talk to and gives you service with a smile and kindness! Yolanda's also works at the bar and I had the pleasure of sitting and talking with her while I had a light dinner and a cocktail. She provided Excellent service there as well. I noticed how other clients came in over my 5 day 4 night stay, and she knew their names, greeted them graciously, and served them with excellence! The Holiday in Fairview Heights Illinois made a phenomenal choice when they hired this young woman. I am always leery when I travel because of the horrible customer service experiences that I have. She is top notch for sure, and when I return I will surely ask for her personally!

Enjoyed my 4 day stay at this hotel. The room was well maintained upon arrival and throughout stay. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I attended a friends retirement dinner at the hotel and the food was prepared like a home cook meal. Everything had taste without being overly seasoned. The fried chicken was to die for. I also had the buffet breakfast. Thanks Angie for your hard work, attention to details and quality customer service. You are definitely an asset for what you bring to the restaurant. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel and all its accommodations.

We came in at 10:30 on a Monday. This was a rewards night stay. The room was very nice. They did a really nice job of utilizing space without it seeming to be crowded. The frontdesk staff was nice, but seemed preoccupied. The main problem was there was booze spilt all over inside one of the elevators. Creating an awful stale alcoholic drink smell. It was so strong I thought I was going to be sick. My husband mentioned to a staff member about this. When we got in the elevator this morning it still was not cleaned up and the smell was even worse. I was going say something to the front desk, but we were in a hurry to get out. Would not stay here again, even though rooms were nice. If they can't clean up booze on an elevator, what else is going on?I will still stay at other IHG properties.

Sorry for the late review so I will make it brief. We stayed here for a weekend in September 2017 and experienced a scam which involved information we discussed with the front desk person checking us in. someone called our rooms posing as the General Manager and stated they needed our credit card information for incidentals. When challenged they became upset and hung up. When we went to the front desk to follow up the front desk representative stated everything was okay and no one from the hotel called the room. she stated that the call came from outside the hotel and she connected the call to our rooms. This story was told to the supervisor and later the next day another supervisor called to ask about the incident. The actual general manager never called to inquire or take a report. It was just fishy how information that was discussed at check in was used to try and scam over the phone. Luckily we did not bite and give the information over the phone. The only reason I am giving a two stars is because the breakfast buffet was really good. Protect your information at these hotels and don't tell the staff anything but what is required. Being friendly will get you scammed...

This is a great hotel, with a restaurant in it, which is very nice for Holiday Inn. The rooms are clean! And, Angie, the lady that waited on us at breakfast, was absolutely fabulous!! Her customer service was top notch!

We had the best time ever. The hotel was very clean the housekeeping staff were very polite, nice and accommendating. Our needs were met without a hitch . For a very short notice it was the ideal place. Thanks to my brother in law for the recommending. We will be back. Thank you to all staff the made our stay for a sad occassion pleasureable.
