This motel is our go-to place to stay when we visit Alton. It’s clean and very well kept. They take smoking very seriously and will ask you if you smoke upon check-in, which comes off as a little abrasive but they are trying to keep their place nice. My only complaint this time was that the heat wasn’t on in the room and it took HOURS for it to reach a comfortable temperature. Otherwise than that, you won’t find a better place to stay for the price in this area.

friendly front desk, not sure why I have to pay for cleaning if we left place as clean when we left as when we arrived. what is the room rate for? upon arrival there was a noodle dried onto the living area counter top which surely indicates not cleaned prior to arrival. They should put rug either outside entry or directly inside as it had rained and feet wet upon each arrival we made back to the room. MAJOR HATE SHOULDN'T HAVE TO PAY CLEANING FEE ON TOP OF RATE!

Noisy. A major 4 way intersection close by where it seems like every racer boy has to take off so everyone can here them. Noise from room above easily passed through our ceiling. Sounded like someone herding elephants up there. Room was clean, beds were comfortable and area surrounding the motel was clean and safe.
