We loved our stay at this rustic and very cozy house. It was the perfect place to stay for our Christmas holiday. The house everything you would need for a stay there. The hosts really went beyond in providing for guests. Even though it was Winter we still enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake through the house's large windows. We highly recommend this lovely property and would love to come to stay in the warmer weather.

Everything you need to stay in this perfect little home was here. The view was perfect. We didn't have the weather to be outside but all the windows facing the lake made a perfect constant view.

We loved the location. It was so nice to be right on the beach and it is your own private beach. As a bonus there was a nice bucket of beach toys the kids really loved. The kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking supplies one would need. There are puzzles and games, mega blocks for little kids. The home is on a private road but if walking/running or bike riding you can easily access the bike path in Colchester. The house is definitely rustic, but we got that from the photos and expected it to be that way.

What a wonderful home! Can’t beat the views from the backyard and the private beach. Brittany responded quickly to messages and was so incredibly kind. She even let us check out late.We unfortunately visited during a warmer time and overlooked the fact that the house does not have air conditioning. Despite the warmth, we made it work with open windows and provided fans to circulate air.The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking utensils and pots and pans. Overall, a great stay!

Great stay in paradise

I knew I would have a great view and a comfortable place to live for my stay in the description. Everything was accurate. What I didn't know is how wonderful this place would be. Just to list a few highlights :- The house beside the beach and the beautiful backyard.- The amazing sunsets everyday.- The airport park and the Bayside beach park just half a mile away.- Most convenience stores really close and all others maximum 15 minutes away.- Almost at the end of a private road for peaceful atmosphereWith all of the above, I can say without a doubt that this place was a little paradise for a family with young children. Thanks to our host! I will recommend it for my friends and colleagues.

Lakefront cabin

The cabin is cozy and has amazing views of Lake Champlain. The beds were comfortable and it was a good place to hang out.The microwave didn't work when we arrived. The host responded right away to our message and had a new microwave installed in less than an hour. We highly recommend this property as a place that allows you to be close to Burlington but far enough away to relax and unwind.

Gorgeous views - cozy cottage

We spent the weekend celebrating our son’s graduation from Champlain College. Though the weather wasn’t the best, the location of the cottage was great - gorgeous views over the lake and just 15 minutes from downtown Burlington. We had everything we needed for a comfortable low key weekend!

Beautiful sunset, responsive host

We had a great stay! The camp is as listed on the description and was perfect for my group of 4, with two teens and two adults. The rustic charm was cozy and comfortable. The location on a private way right on the lake was perfect. It was quiet and the sunset over the lake and mountains was gorgeous. The private beach (shared with neighbor) connects with the public beach providing for a nice walk. We enjoyed the local area including the island rail trail nearby and exploring Burlington. The host Brittany was kind and quick to respond, and check in and check out were so easy. We would definitely stay here again.

Winter Wonderland

Warm, clean cabin on Lake Champlain. Loved watching the cross country skiers, ice- fishing & snowmobiling. Had a great visit w/ our daughter. We hope to be back soon.

Beautiful!

Let me start by saying that the pictures do not do this lake house justice! Everything was perfect. Communication with the owners was great. The house is literally on the lake and has so much history (Including a book with the history of all area properties). We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful view - on Lake Champlain

Had the amenities we were looking for. Plenty of seating for several guests. A suggestion- add a few end tables between a few chairs. Also, have a few throws available for chilly nights. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Very quiet and peaceful
