The hotel was clean. It was a nice room except for one major problem when I stay in a hotel room I would like to be able to use the shower. I could not get the shower handle to turn. so I called the front desk. I’m not sure he understood what I was saying. I timed it 15 minutes later I walked up to the front desk and tried to explain to him I couldn’t get the shower to turn on. He followed me back to the room, which was real close to the front desk room 204. He couldn’t get the shower to work either. He beat on the handle and finally got it broke free and the shower worked, but this time I had already gotten dressed and on with my day so I did not get a shower in a hotel room. the gentleman working the front desk English was so bad. I could not understand him. I had him write things down, but apparently being foreign born, he’s not used to riding left to right, so it was illegible. what he was saying was”emon” over and over after a lengthy exchange and him trying to write it out, which was illegible he was trying to say email. He was unable to explain the bill. I stated I needed a refund cause I was unable to use the shower, but he did not I understand. He had charged me $50 for a deposit because I had a dog with me. The paperwork I received did not reflect the $50was being returned. but I still paid full price for the room because of his inability to speak/ write English.
I would have a hard time referring this hotel to anyone expecting to have the minimal amount of service.
