Nice quiet motel even though it is on the main highway. Small quiet town. Internet was down in whole city due to a break in the fiber optic cable. Unable to connect to internet and there was also no television available. Cell phone service still worked. Internet came back up in the middle of the night.
Excellent parking for semi trucks
i made a mistake when setting up my motel. i thought i was requesting a motel 8 in cody and didn't realize it until i got there that i must have set it up for powell, wyo. in the long run it worked out.
Dated, worn and somehow got a bad paintjob (maybe just my room?) Bed was comfy tho , had lots of clean towels :)
Reception gave our room key to another guest ..thus checking him into our room as well. Very unsettling at 10 pm as we are lying in bed and someone is trying to enter our top . Luckily we had the chain lock . Also fridge didn’t work and no ice .

We arrived late late in the night. We called front desk and let employee know when we arrived 1hour past out ETA. The keys were ready. And room was near a side door. Great service!! Clean room!!!

We had no problem with the staff but terrible cleaner assigned to our room (203). It is understandable if did not permit you to clean our room. We expected for the towels to be replaced. However, the cleaner took a "do not disturb " card placed on our door. We brought our son to the Northwest college and spent the whole day registering and setting him up at school only to return to meet the room not cleaned. The front desk lady assured me she will look up the camera footage and never said anything about it again. She gave us replacement towels, soap and lotion and apologized. This behavior is not good for the hotel. I stayed every week at the Super 8 in Grants, new mexico and am yet to experience that. However, the room is good. Thanks
This is a plain Jane budget hotel. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The receptionist was helpful in giving advice to local attractions. All in all a good bang for the buck.
We were originally given keys to a room already occupied. Our next room had a toilet that wasn’t working and then ran constantly. The curtain was so thin light came through. The towels were rough. The breakfast was very basic and then the power went out, luckily (for us anyway) when we set to leave.
Was not close to the 4+ rating online. Would give it a 2.
