This is a great place to stay, however I booked through Orbitz to pay at hotel and the clerk told me that the room I reserved was not available, however a queen single was available at 30$ more per night. I reserved a queen single room; shady to me but was pressed to find available rooms at the last minute. Not the price advertised on Orbitz.....false advertisement. No tv which was actually a plus to us....the views are amazing; needs updating but clean and well maintained! Very close to east entrance of Yellowstone. The restaurant served great food.
Due to spike in COVID thr resort announced roll back of services including resturant & bar take out only. After some confusion full refund was authorized which was very apreciated
It was great. Friendly staff. Great buffalo taco salad! Would come back here & will recommend it to others.
Quiet place to stay. Staff were extremely nice and accommodating. Room was comfortable though tight. No tv or internet in the rooms. You can get limited access to the internet in the main building. Dining room is ok- overpriced and location is such that you are pretty much limited to eating there. But despite these limitations it was a good experience.
Unique place and would highly recommend to anyone especially those coming from the east. The food was great with a gas station on site.
Property has a nice restaurant on site. Only a few miles from Yellowstone's east entrance and beautiful mountain views. No tv, or a/c (wasn't needed with windows open at night), and cabin was split up into 5 different rooms (had noisy neighbors) but overall a good place to stay.
Rustic log cabins - quaint but hardly room to turn around. Lovely setting. We wish we'd been informed that the road in from the west was under construction. Long, long delay and rough rocky road to traverse. Food at the restaurant was good. Everyone was very friendly.
Location was amazing, didn't have to go far too see the wildlife. And the staff was the reason we will go back.
Very close to Yellowstone east entrance. Nice quiet place to stay in cabins. The cabin is too compact. It is difficult to go around the bed, for even average height person. If you are going to make multiple trips to points of interest inside the park, this location is probably too far. You don’t want to spend time commuting from this lodge.
Room was clean and comfortable the service was very good
Great location and wonderful visiting Cody's lodge.
Great location to Yellowstone Park and love the historical aspect of this property.
3 day reservation. No soap provided in room. No hair dryer. No TV. No WiFi, falsely listed as available. Cramped floor space. Room had musty smell. 1st night could hear snoring through wall into next room. 3rd night heard unruly, loud kids and parents well past 11:30 PM. If other accommodations are available elsewhere, avoid this place. Especially at $160+ per night. Buyer beware.
Great horseback riding and so close to Yellowstone! Tasty steak at the restaurant too!
The location is not too bad if you cannot find anything inside the park. Unfortunately it is a really old, run down place. The sinks were outdated, stained and the hot water was very hot! The windows screen were barely hanging on, the bed mattress was too soft for our comfort and the room itself looked like it needed a lot of care overall. Staff was very nice and polite. We ate lunch one day at their restaurant and we were very dissapointed with our meal for the price we paid. Pro, river running close by, one bag if free ice a night, gas station on premises, shoe horse pit and trails near by. They also provided horse back riding for those interested. Overall, this place was okay. Could use an upgrade and tender love and care.
Quiet cabins close to Yellowstone National Park. Positives= clean, quite, comfortable rooms, great scenery! Negatives= our room did not have ac and out of the three windows, one would not open and one window screen holder was broken and thus let in the bugs. Also, other negative for me was the extremely flat pillows! All in all though, we had a great vacation and would recommend staying here!
