Great place! Our room was right next to the creek and it was just awesome. The staff was extremely gracious and accommodating!
10 minutes from east gate of Yellowstone, 40 miles from Cody, made it very convenient to visit both.
Wonderful three night stay, Tuesday through Friday. Extremely clean. Our cabin was next to a stream and the babbling river lulled us to immediate and restful sleep. Five star linens were provided. Hearty breakfast was available with the cost being comparable in neighboring camps. There were no evening activities, singing, meals or chuck wagons available during the week we stayed at Creekside.
This was a great place to stay! The food was fantastic! The food was as good as any 5 star restaurant! The cabin was clean & comfortable! The managers/owners were very accommodating. It is a little ways from Yellowstone but well worth it. It would be great for a fishing or hunting trip. I would love to go back.
beautiful people, excellent home makes meals comfy rooms
Be aware that Creekside Lodge at Yellowstone is about 10 miles outside the East entrance to Yellowstone. There is a small but nice game room and resturant that can serve breakfast and dinner. But call ahead to be sure dinner will be available the night you arrive. This was 50% more than any other motel/cabin we had during our trip but provided the least except it was the closest to Yellowstone. Our major disappointment was we couldn't get hot water. We should have checked that when we arrived rather than be surprised in the morning. Homey cabins but weak WIFI.
Beautiful location, friendly staff, and good home-cooked food. With no TV or phone, and very limited WiFi, it’s easy to just unplug and relax.
The cabin was adorable, check in was easy, and the quiet was really nice. We had breakfast there our last morning and it was simple, inexpensive and delicious. The owner chatted with us and she is delightful. There was a wet spot on the floor in the room when we got there, but I never told anyone about it because we left early and got in late each evening. Despite this, my daughter and I really liked staying here.
Beautiful location, very clean and comfortable. The meals are expensive, so we just packed our own, using the small fridge in the room. We loved having breakfast at sunrise on the front porch! Our cabin had 2 bathrooms, but one of the toilets was not working. Very friendly staff!
Darling little place for a reasonable price after a full day in the park.
Beautiful setting and very nice rooms with good meals.
Very nice facilities and staff was very friendly and welcoming. Also very close to the East entrance to Yellowstone
We were very impressed with it all! Very warm welcoming!
Everything was just perfect I loved it!!! Food was wonderful
When we booked the lodge it said it had "limited amenities" fine with that. However, heat and electricity are basic amenities. The breakers blew out three times in our cabin. I was afraid the breaker would fail and burn the place down. This is not a safe place to stay. We were move to another cabin, both cabins had space heaters as their only source of heat. My wife was afraid that if we turned on more light another breaker would blow. The owner was apologetic, but can one really think a space heater is going to do the job in 36 degree nights? We left after the first night. She claimed to resell two of our four nights, of which we will get a portion returned to us. We will just lose the rest. How about it Orbitz, write me a check?
very quite friendly and beautiful country. nice dinner and met some very nice people. would stay there again

Thank you for your review. We are 10 miles outside the park, located in the Shoshone National Forest. As a smaller lodge, we do not run a dinner menu, instead offering one or two dining options per night, with dinner served around 7 and advanced notice requested as is explained in the email confirmation. As for a lack of hot water, all cabins have a water heater. I do not know what caused the issue, as nothing was brought to my attention at the time. The WIFI is limited, but enough to get emails in and out.
