We stopped here one night and loved the clean, quiet rooms equipped with fridge, microwave and bath. The only downside was that my room could not connect to wifi. But the staff were friendly and we would return.

We stayed here about two weeks ago June 2019. Room was very clean, good sized bathroom-tub w shower.Frig w freezer also microwave I believe.. Bed was great. Lady at check in couldn't have been nicer! Flower garden out back with sitting area. Would definitely stay here again.

We needed to be in the area and this looked like the best choice. Definitely dated with shag carpeting with a small bathroom and no sink counter on which to set things. The room was dark with poor lighting. It looked like the bathroom had been updated with new tile which looked nice but it was still very small. Internet access was pretty much nonexistent. It let me sign on once and get one page, then told me ‘unable to join network’ so I gave up. WiFi is an important service for me when traveling, one reason for the lower rating. There were no charging outlets next to the bed. One plus was that fridge had a freezer so we could re-freeze our ice packets.

This is a small and I would guess older motel, but the rooms were very clean and comfortable, it was quiet, and the staff seemed super friendly. It's also right next door to the Brandin' Iron restaurant, which seemed to be pretty much the only dining option in the area. The restaurant was also really clean and the people were friendly.

This is a small but cozy motel managed by super friendly and helpfull people. The rooms are well taken care off and offer every amenity needed. You can tell the owners/staff do make the effort to accomodate their customers and run the motel as meant to be. Although we heard the amtrak honk the horn one time in the night my wife and I had a very good night sleep. Don't look further, just stay at this motel when in the area. We definitely will when we are back in the area.

We stayed here on a recent road trip and were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, owner friendly, and there was ample parking for our truck with a trailer. Its within walking distance of everything. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed at The Cattleman for a couple of months and it was hard to leave. The service was phenomenal and so personal. The linens were fresh and clean and the personal attention was great. Everyone, Michelle, Amber and Janice and others were awesome and accommodating. Very quiet at night, no hustle bustle around. Had a nice little breakfast served each morning and a cozy fire pit at night. I would highly recommend it and have you experience the nice little hometown feel.

My wife and I were traveling from Yellowstone Park to Devil's Tower and decided to book a room in Lovell, WY. We picked the Cattleman Motel for the location. We were traveling late and Amber, the hotel clerk, called my wife to verify our arrival and make provisions for us to get our key. When we arrived and found the motel off of a side street, we were concerned. The motel outside is under renovation, inside was unbelievable! We were very pleasantly surprised. The room was large, clean and updated throughout. Full kitchen area, large bathroom and large bedroom with 2 queen sized beds. The kitchen is equiped with silverware, plates, bowls etc. We slept well and would definitely return. We met Amber the next morning when we checked out and she is great!

It looked rather cheap on the pictures (and the rate was, in fact, cheap) so I didn't expect much - but I was up for a pleasant surprise: My room was not as spacious as they are at your usual chain motel but very neat and clean and with all the amenities you can expect: cable TV, coffee maker, fridge,... It is a little bit off the main street and therefore very quiet at night. And they do offer breakfast - not much variety but it wasn't mentioned on Expedia at all so that was another pleasant surprise, and the manager was very friendly and happy to help with the waffle iron. Great experience, would definitely stay again!

I was on the road and stayed for one night. It was great and more than I expected. The room was clean, silent and comfortable. Good linen and towel. For U$ 75 worth it. I really recommend. Staff very friendly.
