Older property but rooms, halls, and lobby look new and fresh. Comfortable mattress with new linens. Friendly and efficient desk staff. Beautiful pool. Beautiful fresh cooked (not preheated) breakfast buffet with table service for coffee and juice served on crisp white tablecloths. I liked it so much I came back to stay a second night and the bartender even remembered my drink.

Believe all the positive reviews you have read about this property! Staff was kind and friendly upon arrival! Yes, the property has been around awhile and there are some noticeably dated things but our room was exceptionally clean and that to me was the most important thing! Complimentary breakfast isn’t your usual Continental, waffle maker etc. It was an American breakfast, eggs, bacon/sausage, grits, potatoes, biscuits, fresh fruit with coffee at your table poured out by an attentive attendant. It was reasonably priced, right off I-40, convenient for what we needed. Safe and quiet, good for our overnight stay!

The staff is so polite and welcoming. The staff at restaurant was accommodating as well. The breakfast was different and delightful versus a continental breakfast plus the lady who services the dining room is pleasant. Clean and tidy room.
