The bed was terrible - it was like sleeping on a slab of rock and the pillows were all large spongy foam. No feather pillow options. I did not sleep well as a result. Minor things like a broken ice machine and the entrance door closest to my room did not work with the card. I was told it might happen so why not get it fixed? And the continental breakfast? A joke. The woman at the front desk handed me a bag and said it was the breakfast. It contained a cheap, wrapped danish-like item, a package of cookies, and a serving of processed peach pieces. I will never return and suggest you don't bother.

Great place to stay

All areas of hotel are run well

To be honest, I'd already called beforehand and asked to see if there was any kind of charge beforehand such as a destruction charge or anything of that nature. When I got there the charge was more than what I paid for the room. Had already called and asked before hand them up to go. Which was zero. So when I showed up and they told me that I decided I'd just leave. Number one because I lied to through orbits and through the hotel so call both places. And I feel like I've been ripped off by both you guys. I want a small business and if I ran my business that way I'd be out of business in a heartbeat.

Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Off season so not many guests. Restaurant closed; complimentary breakfast grab & go bag provided. Room AC noisy blowing really cold air first before hot air on the heat seating. Inconsistent sleeping temperature for person on that side of the bed. Would stay again

I booked a room at the Village Inn for an event held on Saturday evening. The room was a queen double; decent size, south toiletries, linens, microwave and iron. Room met expectations. However the only downside was the pillows were really uncomfortable. Upon grading back home post checking out, my friends and I were talking and we all said we kept tossing and turning to find a comfortable spot with the pillows. I personally just laid directly on the mattress after making numerous circles in my sleep. Also the water pressure of the shower is a bit aggressive, too the point after goes all over the floor, bouncing off the walls and the shower rod is curved and the curtain doesn't quite expand the length of the tub. Though I didn't partake in the breakfast or pool, my friends said they both were good. Get there early for all the breakfast options and/or a seating area at the pool. With regard to their venue rental operations, it was okay. I planned an event from out of state, mostly through emails with the hotel general manager. She was extremely helpful in answering questions and/or getting back to me in a timely manner. However, the day of, we weren't introduced to anyone and didn't know who was running the show for the first 10 to 15 minutes. Also, things that were communicated to them prior hadn't been trickled down to the event staff. Nonetheless, the event went well, rooms were standard and would definitely recommend.

I've stayed here many times. Close to shopping, dining, and golf. The included breakfast is better than "make your own waffles".

Clean rooms, friendly employees, and good breakfast.

I would not stay here again, the hotel was run down looking and the staff wasn't very friendly when I checked in.

Clean, Staff was friendly, Room was Comfortable Clean, Staff was friendly, Room was Comfortable

Had a room right on top of the stairs. Had to call the front desk at midnight and ask them to tell the teenage girls on the stairs to stop yelling and laughing. They didn't want to upset the incoming patrons, so it continued another 20 minutes.

The room looked nice enough and it's updated, but the bathroom had hair in the tub and the sink wasn't clean.

I'm happy it was only for one night, the beds were hard and uncomfortable. The cable was blurred and my kids room had roaches. This place was a dump. No iron in the room... the front desk lend an iron and wanted me to bring it back downstairs after I was done.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. We stayed because of the price and because it was Wake forrest Graduation, all other places near by were booked. For the money, you can't really complain. Although, the hotel probably should mention that the pool isn't open until memorial day. That really upset me as the 2nd reason we chose this place was because we wanted a place with a pool.

Went to the hotel for weekend graduation - picked this hotel because it advertised a pool - when we got there they said the pool was closed. Went to watch the baseball game in the bar, bar closed on Sundays. Asked front desk for sewing kit, none. Very average hotel, not too clean.

The hotel was quiet. Ice machine worked. Conference room and staff were good. My only complaint was the bed sank in the middle and needed to be replaced.
