"This hotel was such a nice find on the south jetty Peninsula. The owners were nice and the coffee truck on site was an added bonus. The breakfast sandwich and biscuits and gravy from the coffee truck were fantastic. I was also surprised to find out there is a significant elk population there and on our drive to the end of the Peninsula we saw at least 12 elk. Some of the bull elk were impressive. It was very interesting to learn about the engineering feat that is the south jetty and also to see Harrison and Russell fort. The hotel was quite small and quaint with only eight rooms but very well kept. The surrounding restaurants were also quite good. We were only there for one night, but really enjoyed our stay."
