Run down, meager breakfast

The room needs work. Mildew in grout in the shower, bathroom cabinet needs repainted, bathroom walls need repaired and painted. Breakfast was one of the saddest we’ve seen. Few selections, no bananas, dirty counters. The woman “running” the breakfast restocked, but did no cleaning, leaving sticky counters and tables.

4 night family vacation

We stayed for 4 nights the room was very clean and when we came back every night are room was always cleaned up. They also supply you with Dove soap shampoo and conditioner which I absolutely loved. The breakfast was very basic. No eggs but there was pancakes, cereal and bagels. The coffee was warm not hot. I would stay here again because my main concern is the cleanliness which was great in my opinion.

The hotel is adequate. The closets smell of mold badly and stunk up the room to the point we went and bought a candle. The room was clean, towels very nice big bathroom. It was good for the price just fix the mold.

This property needs an upgrade. I understand that most of the clientele are labors and like to get together on the weekends but when others are trying to sleep it poses a problem. I have included pictures of our room. Ceiling, floor, sprinkler, light switch.

I booked 3 rooms through Expedia. We arrived late at night, due to travelling. When we got to our rooms the 1st complaint was the horrific smelling rooms. A mixture of dirty dog, cigarettes & mouse urine. The rooms were disgusting! All 3 bathrooms were filthy. We did not even use the showers. All 3 had dark, reddish brown smeared stains from top to bottom. It looked like the shower scene from Psycho had happened in there. Not a joke. All 3 ceilings of the bathrooms had a lot of black mold/mildew. My room had large chunks of missing plaster from the ceiling & the tv did not work. Due to the late hour and the fact that I had already paid, we had to sleep there. It was so filthy that I slept with the lights on hoping that would deter animal/bug life from running around. At check-out, I politely explained the room situation to the front desk employee & she just stared at me. No apology or offer to remedy the situation. So, I asked for a manager. She said the manager was not on site. I said that didn't seem right and asked again to see the manager. She refused. Still no apology. Finally, I told her that I felt there should be a refund due to the filthy conditions of the room. She said they don't do that there, because I booked through Expedia. She said to go to them for a refund. I told her that Expedia is not in charge of cleaning their hotel rooms. She just shrugged her shoulders and stared at me till I left. I will NEVER stay at another Baymont hotel again. ZERO rating

I booked a non smoking room that had very clearly been smoked in and not cleaned appropriately or maintained. It smelled terrible. There were cigarette burns in the linens and cobwebs all on the ceilings. Lamps didn’t work. The bathroom was dirty and had mold present as well as a broken and rusted return vent grate. I would’ve complained to the staff, but she was very non-professional, complaining to me during check in and venting about other customers being needy. It was too late for drama and I just needed a place for my family to sleep after over 5000 miles of driving in 2 weeks on a cross country trip to be able to make it the final 4 hours home. Worst room I ever booked on Expedia.
