We arrived by car exhausted. We were given a handicapped room, which was fine, but... The bathroom was horrible since there was no light. I'm visually impaired and good light is extremely important to me. I have no idea how someone in a wheelchair could use the mirror and the poorly lit room. We asked that maintenance put in a new bulb, but the fixture was broken. I wasn't able to put on makeup in the morning. We decided to eat in the restaurant. Unfortunately they were having problems with the cooler so there wasn't much available. My Cobb salad was fine and husbands meal was good. Our server was excellent. Breakfast wasn't so great. The scrambled eggs were so dry I couldn't eat them. I don't think we will stay there again.
Stayed a quick night while traveling north. Very nice & clean. No one at the front desk when we arrived & also when we checked out. Seems that is a bit of a security risk. Waited about 5 minutes when we arrived for the front desk guy to return. Both packets of coffee in the room were decaf so we had to go down & pay $5 for 2 Starbucks coffees. It was better than the room coffee would've been anyway but just hate to spend $5 for 2 plain coffees. Ample restaurant choices nearby. Shopping too.
The Courtyard in Clarksville is almost done with renovations. We were upgraded to a king suite on the top floor. It was quiet, bed comfortable and extremely spacious. The staff was friendly. It was close to the interstate with several options for dinner.
I usually stay at courtyards when I travel for work. This was a long trip(2 weeks) and I would not recommend this place for longer than a night or two. First when I checked in a requested one additional night at the same rate, which they agreed to and when I checked my rates online they had all changed and increased for my overall stay. The laundry room is dirty. I definitely didn't want to be there for too long. On the weekend I got back to my room at about 2:30 pm and they knocked on my door at 3pm for room service. I don't understand why it was so late. On Sunday the housekeeping staff was relaxing in the room next door to me watching something on there phones, after that I understood what took so long. On Tuesday there were renovations on all the rooms around mine after 8pm. Doors were slamming closed ever few mins and there was constant scrapping on the walls for a few hours
From the 3 rooms I had to try to get a room that was halfway decent to the extremely dirty carpet, dirty light fixtures and poorly made beds (with the comforter that should be covered and wasn't) my skin just crawled. Gym had one treadmill that didn't work. I will report this facility to Marriott. It is not what Marriott is supposed to be.
I stayed here with my mother who was in a wheelchair and my sister as a stopover to break up a long drive. Everyone was very friendly and service oriented. The property is wide open and clean. I only have two minor issues: 1) I appreciated the upgrade due to my Marriott status but it smelled smoky and 2) a few of their menu items on an already limited menu were not available. There are many restaurants close by so I understand not overstocking on their food items.
All is good here - was great to have a functioning pool and hot tub. Was kind of surprised that there was no free breakfast OR coffee or hot water stations. Good location! Bed comfy and staff friendly.
Great location. Exceptional customer service. Great facilities. Hotel is always clean and well stocked with items. Laundry services available. I highly recommend this hotel for either a business or pleasure when in Clarksville, Tennessee.
This hotel is right on the main strip even though Clarksville isn't that massive . The hotel has a wonderful massive massive lobby with a snack center , a bar , coffee area , another separate seating area , fire pit area and nice pool. The rooms are nice , nothing outright fancy but not a dump by any means . Would stay here again without an issue . Coffee maker, closet , drawers, iron . I will post photos
The Courtyard was right off the highway, and there were plenty of restaurants nearby. After a long day, it was nice to be able to pick up dinner before heading back to the hotel to do more work. The staff seemed like they had better things to do as they hurried me through checking in. My room was clean and the set up was very accommodating. There was a little couch and coffee table. I enjoyed being able to sit down on a couch instead of in an office chair or bed and work on my laptop. The outlets in the room were a little sketchy. Nice big bathroom! The bed was comfortable, and I slept well. Overall it was a nice stay! It was nice to be able to buy a Starbucks latte on the way out this morning.
