Dirty sheets and pillows, someone else's soap in bathroom, towels were not replaced so I guess me and my husband were expected to share. Won't be back front desk was useless and not nice but not exactly rude, no shampoo or anything... just used soap bar
Manager straight up lied to me. Receptionist was polite and tried to be helpful but manager could care less about what people thought of his business. Would not recommend anyone to stay there ever. Find another hotel!
My family and I stayed here the night before the solar eclipse. The room was plain and on the smallish side but completely adequate, with a working microwave and mini refrigerator. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast bar was better than expected with some hot items in addition to the cereal and pastries. There was even a handbasin in the dining area. If the staff was overwhelmed by eclipse viewers they didn't show it; they were friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.
It was a cleanish room for a 2 star hotel. The kids had a lot of fun in the pool. The beds were really uncomfortable. My key cards stopped working FIVE TIMES. Couldn't get in my room. It was raining. They told me to keep it away from magnets. I had it sitting alone in the middle of my car seat. Stopped working. They would lock the extra doors to the breakfast area to prevent "stealing" of the foods. Why even have that door? It was always locked. The breakfast spread was minimal. It was pouring and we got soaked trying to get to that small breakfast. I ate at waffle house the next two days. Staff was fine.
I have never stayed in a place like this except once before. No where I would ever stay again.. it was half way clean. But still not up to my expections. Bed sagged in the middle. Good grief!!. Linen was clean. It needed a serious makeover. Water was hot, but tub dripped all night. Carpet was vacuumed but filthy. Never again.
We had to find a cheap hotel and this was one of the cheapest. I know, you get what you pay for, but this was below expectations for what we paid. BEWARE: HOTEL REQUIRES A $50 DEPOSIT, EVEN IF YOU PREPAID FOR THE ROOM! And if you don't have cash or a credit card and only a debit card like me, they put the charge on your debit card and takes it out of available funds. You won't get it back for 7-10 days they tell you!! (I actually got mine back in 4 days, but still!) Beds were like sleeping on a piece of plywood with a couple of foam pads on top. Thank goodness I brought my own pillow. Decided to pass on the shower. If you can afford a few more bucks, I would suggest one of the many other hotels on this stretch, which there are numerous to choose from.
Extra deposit required, I am not sure why because most items in the room were broken, and filthy. The rooms themselves were filthy, (another family member had another room). The room next to mine had a loud party going on, I phoned the front desk twice. The party ended around 2am. They did have a pretty good breakfast for an Econo Lodge, sausage, biscuit's and gravy, waffles, cereal, donuts, juice, milk.
O.K. as a Stopover when Traveling. Room was adequate but a bit dated. As another review stated they are Pet Friendly but they " Did Charge for My Dog ". Had a Basic Breakfast in the morning to send you on your way. Front Desk did not Recognize my Diamond Status. No Upgrade !
I like this place because it's clean and allows me somewhere to come with my animals that doesn't charge extra. Plus the entrance to the rooms are on the outside of the buildings which makes it easier to access with pets. IMO.
This hotel had outside entrances of the first floor. Pool had debris floating in the water. The pool was heated. The room was clean enough with some updates to bath area, but electronics were old. The refrigerator was rusty. Very dark. Nice area, but choose another hotel.
