Swimming Pool: The swimming pool is open from the last Saturday of April until the first Saturday of October, located in a carefully manicured garden at 20 meters from the villa. The rectangular measures 10 x 4 m, with a depth of 1, 40 m. The area bordering the swimming pool is terracotta pavement.

Everything was beautiful. The area is truly amazing. The villa was spotless. We had a few issues with the water pump, no water on a few occasions, but once shown how to fix all good. Same with fuse box. Pool area was spotless and clean. Checkin Alice came to meet us on arrival and was extremely helpful during our stay.We visited a number of local towns and villages and their were activities most evenings in Città della Pieve. Through Alice we organised a dinner at the villa one evening which was fabulous and a day visit to vinyard near and winery in Montepulciano.A point to note the villa is set in the grounds of a larger property so not completely secluded and not mentioned in the description. But this did not spoil our stay as it is seperated with own pool etc. Would recommend, perfect location for visiting this beautiful area and you could walk into Citta della Pieve, with lovely restaurants, bars and amazing buildings.

Lovely, spacious villa in Umbria

We loved staying here. The property is spacious, indoor and out. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool since it was very hot the week we were here. We scheduled a cooking class with Francesca, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We were eating leftovers all week!Alice was there to greet us when we arrived, which was very nice. But it would be helpful to have written instructions for us Americans who don't know how to use European appliances and air conditioning.It was a surprise that we had to pay additional fees for air conditioning and tax. The listing stated that heating would incur extra fees, but not the AC. Minor issue: the listing included 'shampoo.' There was only a small sample package. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking implements, as well as some basic food items.

Escape to Umbria

We had a party of six and stayed for 2 amazing weeks. The villa was clean and comfortable. Our concierge, Alice, was knowledgeable, friendly and fun. Our drivers, Gianni and Natacha were easy to work with and very nice. The transportation was punctual and accommodating. We spent the month of October in this house and we couldn’t have made a better choice. It was impeccably clean. The location was ideal both for relaxing and for visiting the area. A slice of heaven in Umbria

We had a tranquil week in the 3 bedroom villa. This VRBO can plan meals, tours and events for you if you choose. Any needs we had were promptly attended to by the staff. Our cooking class fun and the meals that the staff prepared were first class. Chef's kiss! The tours are superb. Highly recommend as an easy and efficient way to see central Italy. Beautiful home

The home was beautiful, clean, and spacious. The pool was lovely. Great location to use as a base for day visits, but also to visit the beautiful town of Citta della Pieve. Communication was easy and quick. Friendly service. We did the cooking class which I highly recommend as it was one of our favorite meals. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect stay in Citta Della Pieve

Our group of four adults thoroughly enjoyed a 2-week stay. Check in was a snap, and communication during the stay was effortless. The area is gorgeous and the town is very sweet. There are many excellent restaurants in town as well as a few grocery stores, and it’s a fairly short walk into town. Our hosts recommended a few local wineries that we visited too. The location on the Umbria/Tuscany border makes an ideal homebase for day trips in the Val d’Orcia and throughout Umbria. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Villa with Stellar Host

From start to finish our experience was first rate. Jacopo's property is in a beautiful setting, with views of the olive grove below and the valley across the way. Communication with him and his property manager, Alice, was always excellent and prompt. We stayed for three weeks and are already planning our return trip. We walked into the town of Citta della Pieve many times and loved its beautiful winding streets and alleys, artwork and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Amazing villa, location and very helpful manager/owner

The photos didn't do the villa justice. It was a very clean and spacious property, well equipped and the pool was fantastic. 15 minute walk to town where there were great bars and restaurants. Perfect holiday and thanks to Jacopo for ensuring our stay was the best it could be.

Splendid villa in Umbria

We spent one week with our three teenage children in the villa in Città della Pieve. The villa is very well equipped and very comfortable for a family stay. Large bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and air condition. The area in front of the villa is fantastic for common meals and well protected from sun. The swimming pool is fantastic and of exclusive use of the tenants. Communication was very good with the manager. Any issue was immediately attended. We were also very lucky to have Brian taking care of the swimming pool and the house on a daily basis, he did a great job and was of extreme kindness. The villa is very well situated to discover close Tuscany and other parts of Umbria. We fully recommend a stay at the villa.

The villa is huge and the pool area amazing. Angela is great showing you around and has great knowledge of area. Pasta making was a huge hit and what a great meal. Jacapo is always on hand via email to answer any queries. A marvellous first holiday to Italy will be back

Grazie Villa Febea

Introducing our two daughters and their families to Italy was enhanced by staying at the lovely Villa Febea. We ended up with 10 family members able to make it and everyone had their own private bedroom with a bath. The villa's location is halfway between Rome and Florence making either accessible. So many wonderful adventures awaiting in the lovely towns close by - Siena, Montepuliano, Montelcino, Pienza, Cetona, Saertano, and Chiusi itself that has fascinating Etruscan tunnels and museums. This villa has a user friendly kitchen and more than adequate areas to sit and dine as a family. The grounds are gorgeous and the exquisite private chapel is just inside the Villa grounds and a good walk but well worth it. We had the swimming pool heated and it was fantastic with abundant lounge chairs available. The A1 Autostrada is only 10 minutes away as is the Chiusi train station with rapid transit to many sites. We had the traditional Tuscan dinner on Sunday night and although adequate it did not meet our expectations. Our last evening was spent at Tuscany Divine, a restaurant nearby that had a tasting menu for 20 euros each that was fabulous. I highly recomment this Villa. Jacopo was readily available and responsive.

We expected Casa Baiocco to be good from the description and pictures, however it was even better than anticipated. Jacopo arranged for a massage therapist to be there on request and that of course made everyone feel better. We also made use of the opportunity of the cooking class. The chef was wonderful and made everything easy approachable and fun. We literally sat by the pool and felt like we were staying at a property worthy of Julia Roberts or George Clooney. Also his white wine is very good as is his alive oil.

A lovely villa

We had a great time. Jacopo was very helpful and the villa was well situated, and very private, with its own pool and facilities. The town is a short walk away with plents of cafes and restaurants. The pool area is great, which is where we spent most of our time. We would reccomend to others.

Wonderful villa in lovely setting

Everything was excellent from initial booking enquiry to leaving the villa. Spotlessly clean, everything provided that you need , lovely pool. Jacopo even came to find us on arrival when we were lost! Would definitely like to return in the future. Nice restaurants in the local town.
