Very nice clean hotel in a good location to the event I was attending. I would stay at this hotel again.I would recommend this hotel to my friends and colleagues. Very clean, courteous staff. The only unusual thing was there are 2 hotels in the same building. A little confusing at times.
OK Stay. Wont necessarily go out of they way to stay or not stay. It was a fair price for an OK to OK+ hotel. Issues with breakfast. Generally a clean place. Carpets in some places could a little TLC. Elevators can get busy as they are shared with the Hampton. Parking garage is completely separate from the hotel, must walk around the block to access it.
The Homewood Suites in downtown Cinci delivered most of our expectations. The staff were friendly and on top of things. Valet was very helpful. Only wish they could have delivered a little something for the Bride and Groom on the Wedding Night, as we had been told they would do.
Overworked Valet, no parking in front of hotel, have to carry luggage to the upstairs Front Desk, Ran out of Food, Food options not worth the extra cost, Under staffed Hotel with poor service! Avoid staying here please!
When we arrived the first thing we noticed was a big stain on the couch. She didn't vac the room till day 3. We asked for a roll of toilet paper and she said the entire house has no more. When I called the front desk she couldn't deny the fact. About an hour later we received another roll from someone else. The housekeeper came back to room 6 hours later to see if we got one. The bedskirt was never even. It looked sloppy everyday. When we returned from a busy day in the city nothing was cleaned, trash wasn't even emptied. There was a cough drop on the floor for days and she didn't pick it up. On our last day she knocked on the door to clean the room at 0900. Check out was 11 and we asked for a 12 noon check out which was granted. The bartender didn't have a bottle opener.
I've stayed here before and had a great experience, but this weekend was unfortunately the opposite. Showed up just before 3:00 to check in on Saturday and was told that our rooms weren't quite ready. No big deal, they took my phone number and said they would call me when they were. We waited in the lobby for almost two hours, asked the desk attendant again and were told the same thing. After waiting a little longer and growing frustrated, I called a Homewood in another part of town and booked rooms there. It was such a mess in the lobby with people frustrated about not being able to check in that we couldn't even tell the front desk attendant to cancel our rooms. We even had to walk behind the desk to get our bags that we left on our own. As we left to head to the other hotel, I figured when they finally called me that I would tell them that we left. However, they never even called. So I assumed maybe they oversold the place and just didn't really care that we weren't there. Of course, I wake up the next morning to find charges for the rooms on my card. (Yes, I understand a hotel cancellation policy.) I've been trying to get ahold of a manager for two days now to discuss. Left on hold twice for 15 minutes each and even left a voicemail. Hoping to hear back soon or I will probably just dispute the charges with my credit card company. So in summary, nice hotel that needs to figure out it's housekeeper situation and isn't the place to stay if you think you'll be able to check in at a normal hour.
The hotel is located in a great spot. Everything i needed was within walking distance. The staff is friendly and helpful. The gym is equipped with the basics si you can very in a quick workout. There is a game room that fits into the social theme with a pool table. The decor is a little dated but It's worth the stay.
Highly recommended, especially for baseball. Stay here often and will again. Breakfast and evening mid week social were good. Wish that they provided on weekends also. Found the staff to be helpful and friendly
The staff can't do there Job because decision aren't being made by Management (ANNE) the lingering on of a problem doesn't help the customer just disturbs the vacation or stay and makes you resent the decision of staying and that hotel
This hotel was ok for the price. Parking is next door to the hotel but there is no way to access the hotel through the garage. There is also no where to unload in front of the hotel. Carpets were dirty.
