The place was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Conveniently the hotel sits within minutes of walking distance from the waterfront, stadiums, restaurants, bars, museums, etc.
The property was unique as was inside an old building downtown turned in to hotels. Homewood Suites and Hampton Inn share the building. The Hampton Inn amenities side was shut down. It looks like they were finishing renovations. Elevators were a bit sketchy, but the room was great! It had a full kitchen, couch, very comfortable bed. Very clean inside too. Only drawbacks were that I did not know before arriving that it is Valet parking. I parked in garage next door not knowing that. Wasn't bad, just $10 for parking for the night. There were signs everywhere though saying to pay before returning to your car, but I could not find any of the pay boxes to do this and then turns out you can pay the same way right at the gate when leaving. Just caused some unwanted stress at 4am running around a parking garage looking for pay station, when didn't even need it. Also with being a downtown location, I was afraid to go out later on my own to get something to eat due to many homeless people pretty much on every other corner.
The whole building was unique. Was very nice and clean.
Room was filthy and dirty needs to be updated furniture old super dirty was not happy at all
This hotel is very nice. It’s entrance is very unique as it’s an old renovate building and has swivel doors and old elevators. The staff was very pleasant greeting us. Our checkin was fast and friendly and they even gave us all complementary bottles of water! The room was spacious and very clean. Beds were coomfortable and room was newly decorated. Breakfast was wonderful and we even enjoyed a game of pool after breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.
The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Wonderful location.
We only spent one night at the hotel as we were in town for a concert and we had selected this hotel so that we could cook our own food. It was very accommodating for this! We found the room set up to be great also. The hotel appears to be newly renovated. The staff at the front desk was very extremely friendly and helpful. My only issue is the parking - only valet available. The hotel is downtown, so this is the most logical option. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again if in the area!

Thank you very much for an awesome detailed review. We will share this with out team across the departments to address all the issues. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can about the parking as the hotel doesn't own any of the city parking. We just do our best to work with outside third party agencies to help try to accommodate parking needs.
