This is the worst embassy I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms smelled like mold. There was water damage visible through the carpets. A huge roach dead in the men’s bathroom. The clerk did not seem to care about any of the complaints. Please do not stay here it’s not worth spending the money.

They failed to properly check us in and overbooked our room. At 10:30 at night, where myself, husband and baby were sleeping, someone tried entering our room because the hotel overbooked us. When my husband called the desk about the issue they interrupted him and dismissed him. He went to the desk and it was blamed on the system but was never offered any solutions or attempts to right the situation.

This hotel experience was very lack luster. While the hotel lobby was nice, I wish I could say the same for the rooms. The room we were given was very dated, as if it was just sitting for awhile. Smelled old. Air conditioning did not work temperature remained in 73 the entire weekend where the weather outside was 90 and up. So you can imagine how hot we were. We were told the hotel was fully booked so possibility of changing room was not likely. The pull out sofa bed was dirty full of stains, a random bug came out of the couch, we asked for towels at the front desk and never got them. Had to hunt down housekeeping for them. The water temperature and pressure was low with lukewarm water. The only thing I did enjoy about my stay was the location of the hotel and the free breakfast. However my experience could've been alot better. As someone who had stayed at the Embassy before, I was disappointed in the experience we had.

The location and breakfast bar were great. The staff were as helpful as they could be, but the property needs a DEEP clean and AC upgrade. Our room was damp and reeked of mildew. The AC never caught up, which made it impossible to sleep. The carpet was so dirty it turned our socks and feet black immediately. Anything on the property that was upholstered was covered in stains. The floor in the breakfast area was sticky. Again, the staff were great and seemed to be working hard, but it was too much for them.

Had an amazing experience, breakfast in particular was amazing. Did have a minor issue with the air conditioner in that it did not seem to be blowing well into on of our rooms, but it ended up being okay.

It was fine, not my favorite

The room’s AC never went under 70 degrees the whole time we were there which made the room uncomfortable during the hot days where outside was 100+ degrees. The room had an odd smell when you walked into it, plus the door stuck at times so you had to give it a little more of a push to open and close it. Water pressure for the shower was terrible, took forever to wash soap off cause the water pressure was almost nonexistent. The only thing I liked about our room was our bed. It was comfy and had no issues falling asleep after a long day.

The Embassy was close to the bridge into Cincinnati making walking very easy, the parking is paid parking which is not made clear when booking. The hotel overall is in major disrepair. Many things were broken or did not work. Ice machines, drains in showers, etc. The overall cleanliness is poor at best. Top sheet had a huge stain on it upon arrival, we observed used food plates from the restaurant being left for over a day before being picked up. Our stay was not horrible but would not choose this again if staying in the area.

The staff were generally unfriendly, especially the bar staff working the lobby bar. The AC in the room struggled to keep up, and the bathroom smelled of strong sulfur, almost unbearable to even step inside it. We did not receive maid service a single time over our stay. And to top it all off, we found a soiled diaper left in the room from guests before us, to which the hotel staff essentially told us they couldn’t do anything about since we booked through Expedia. After reaching Expedia customer service, I was only offered a few lousy rewards points to compensate for the experience. You would be better off sleeping under one of the bridges than staying at this property.

The best part of the stay was the free happy hour, that was about it. Our room was big and clean, but HOT! Had the temp set to 68 and the lowest it ever got was 82. Neither my wife or I could sleep with it being so hot.

The room could use some tlc. The ac struggled but it was 94 outside. The carpet had a couple spots missing and was just bare floor but it wasn’t terrible. For $275 a night I expected more but it wasn’t the worst.
