21c Museum Hotel Cincinnati

The most outstanding feature of this hotel is the staff. Always pleasant and ready to do whatever they can to make the visit special. The museum is fun and certainly provides a great atmosphere. Location: Perfect, easy access to restaurants, museums, theaters and shopping. I would definitely return.

Hotel was very modern and clean. Friendly staff. Only downer is that my special request ahead of time was not met or even discussed.

I had a wonderful stay at the 21c in Cincinnati (for the most part). The rooms were decorated wonderfully with a slight bit of whimsy. Staff at checkin was friendly and accommodating. The valet was prompt. And those penguins.... With that being said, I did not give the hotel five stars because I left my toiletry bag in the room and housekeeping was unable to recover it. It took over 24 hours to receive a return call. And ultimately, the bag was not found. I find this hard to believe considering I had the bag in the hotel and did not take it with me at my departure. So, unfortunate given what a great time I had prior to check out.

Very friendly staff and comfortable room. Stayed for two nights and enjoyed our time there. Very clean and accommodating.

We loved our hotel room. It was bright, modern and very clean. The decor was quirky and fun. The only negative was the location. We weren't used to the city noise. We were up on the 8th floor, and could hear music below us (it was the weekend, so it may be quieter during the week). We also had a lot of trouble trying to find parking, so we ended up paying the insane price of $35 for valet parking. Tip: The restaurant does not have the same food as what's shown on the menu in your room, so make sure you know what you are getting into. :) It was too fancy for us not our taste. But they did have fantastic service.

I went to school in Cincinnati years ago and had not been back for a long time. I was familiar with the other hotels in the downtown area but wanted to try something new. What a perfect experience we had at 21c. The hotel is beautiful and quirky. We especially loved the large yellow penguins that mysteriously move around the hotel and even showed up outside our door one morning. The staff was courteous and professional and the room was large and comfortable. The bathroom was huge and artfully designed. I had a few drinks at the bar, which is lovely and next time, we'll try the restaurant. The hotel is situated in a very central area with many restaurants just around the corner. Everything here is walkable- we walked to the riverfront to a Reds game, across the river to Newport and in the other direction all the way to the Horseshoe Casino. Would definitely stay here again. We loved it.

Great fun hotel and great location. Would reco this hotel to anyone staying in cincy.

great fun hotel in the perfect location in cincy Loved our experience there. Staff was amazing. Metropole was very good also.

From the minute we walked in, we were like WOW ! Not your normal hotel. Very modern, the "art" was like Alice in Wonderland-ish, or maybe a little Pink Floydish. The bathroom, WoW. The bed..... Never been in a more comfortable bed. We're normally Holiday Inn or Hampton Inn. This was more expensive- but you certainly get what you pay for here-I would and have highly recommend staying here at least once !

Unique hotel does everything well. From valet parking to the front desk, to room service and maid service, everything was top notch. Loved touring the museum and all the art work on the walls throughout the hotel.

Staff was fantastic at every level from valet, cleaning, front desk. They look for oppotunities to assist. Great restaurant suggestions. Very personal touch. The rooms and hotel in general are comfortable, clean and sophisticated. Lots of small touches make it step above.

The design of 21c is not surprisingly one of its biggest draws, and it did not disappoint in that regard. But the service and quality of the hotel in general set it apart even more from other hotels. We were upgraded to a King Luxury room and it was fantastic--lots of space, very comfortable, and the artwork was really fun. The Nespresso machine in the room was a really nice perk too. We loved the huge yellow penguins that kept popping up in different places around the hotel!

The hotel is very cool with lots of modern amenities. I also appreciated that they don't skimp on the necessities as some "modern" hotels often do. Our room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The bar/restaurant is a great choice as well. I would stay here again!

Clean, Spacious, & Contemporary. Very friendly staff. Excellent experience overall.

Lots of fun! Quite original setting. Good decor. How much more do I have to write?

Wonderful experience. Everyone was superb. The front desk, bell hops, and valet drivers all went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. We brought our dog with us and they ensured that check in was smooth and that she was taken care of as well.

Art exhibits were closed for private function so felt like we missed a little of the draw.

I spent one night there with my girlfriend for our anniversary, and most of the staff was very friendly and accommodating with very few exceptions. I thought the room was nice and big for a one bedroom, and it was almost perfectly clean as well. The mattress itself was fairly comfortable, but the rest of the hotel's decor and design was also a huge draw initially and it delivered. I definitely felt like it displayed signature works by 21st century artists in an exhibition like manner, so that was great to experience in person. We also ordered room service, and although I thought the cost was a little pricey even considering the reputation of the hotel the food was absolutely amazing, so it was worth it. My only reservation would be the cost of the hotel as a whole, especially for one night in a one bedroom, but it definitely wouldn't stop me from staying there in the future because I thoroughly enjoyed my time there as well as the full experience it offers.

The hotel is very nice. The staff was great! The only negative thing I would say is the rooms are small but that wasn't a problem. The only issue we had was there is no ice machines and you had to call for ice. Getting ice was the only issue we had. On Sat. night it was no problem and very quick but Sun morning we had to call twice and it took a long time.

Loved it from the second we set foot inside. Staff were tremendously friendly and helpful. From the moment you enter, you know that it is going to be a different experience from other hotel stays. The art is very cool. All of it blends a unique boutique feel with the comforts of a luxury hotel. My wife and I are considering returning to Cincinnati, just to stay in the hotel and enjoy the city for a weekend. If you're in town, there's no better place to stay.
