We got in late from Australia so it was a perfect location with them picking us up at the airport, very friendly staff

CLOSE TO AIRPORT, Late night pick-up. Close to auto rental.

We stayed in a family room, 2 bedrooms, kitchen and living room. It was very conveniently located near the airport but on a nice quiet street.

needed a place to stay for one night near the airport as my flight left early in the morning. great place, very spacious. was put in a suite with a living room for just myself, no extra charge.

I was only staying one night, as I had an early flight back to Melbourne, but the room was awesome! I essentially had my own 1 bedroom apartment with kitchen, living room, and bedroom. Tea, coffee, and hot chocolate were also provided.

Perhaps the worst stay that I can remember, ever. We were there in the winter, and the heating was grossly inadequate. There were two heaters but they did not work properly or their capacity was too small. At our request, the manager brought another heater, but warned us that if we put this other spare heater on, the fuses may blow up and we may have to be without power all night. The quality of the toiletries was extremely poor, the overall cleanliness unsatisfactory. Everything had a cheap and old feel to it. And we paid what we would pay for a 4 star hotel. I cannot understand how this motel can get any repeat business. It is truly awful: stay away.

We ran into this a lot in nz. this was a fine motel, but not 4 star by any means. we needed to be close to the airport and wanted to be out of downtown. this motel filled the bill. it was old and had cabin-style rooms. linens and furniture were homey but not upscale.i've had better experiences for the money. although the folks there were very nice, friendly and helpful, as in almost all of nz.

We stayed two nights in this hotel. It was average in all points. Though it advertised an airport shuttle one was not available for our very early morning flight. Had some difficulty with their internet access, but eventually OK.

This hotel is situated near the airport. A free shuttle service is available and they come quite quickly to pick you up. The staff member that we dealt with the most was very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean but dated. We had a problem with plumbing and it was fixed by the end of the day.

cons: paid wifi, bothersome shower curtains pros: location, value, courteous staff

Excellent value for the money. The owners (or managers?) were very helpful.

Our two separate stays at the Airport Lodge Motel were comfortable and pleasant. We ended up doing some things recommended by the staff that we would have missed. Both times our rooms were actually small apartments with everything necessary for longer stays. the staff was helpful and friendly. Good value, great stay.

This was a lovely place and more than we expected it to be for the price. Staff was helpful and polite, close to airport ..would definitely reccomend it. txs

The room was extremely clean, very hot shower. It was great being greeted by being able to make our own hot chocolate in our room! We had a fully equipped kitchen, but decided to eat out. The motel employees got us a discout on the taxi!
