The property is very central and everything is with walking or bus proximity.
Our king room was very nice, but on the small side. Very nice bathroom, bed and linens. The property is conveniently located in the center of downtown. Parking required a valet or pay lot.
Nice central location close to lots of eating possibilities
Great people! I really enjoyed the facility and being close to the action!
Very nice hotel and restaurant. Nice views and central location to cathedral and shopping.
The hotel is located at the city center. Walkable distance to shopping mall, stores, and restaurants. The room was clean.
This hotel was one of the few in the Christchurch central business district that performed well in the 2010-11 earthquakes, but it has struggled to keep pace since then. The accommodation is decent, the staff are nice and helpful, the rooms are satisfactory, the gym is useful. However, they have had constant struggles with their elevators -- a serious problem for a hotel with 15 floors (and apartments up to the 22nd floor). The elevators were under repair when I visited previously in 2016 and were failing again during this visit: one elevator was broken nearly my whole visit, and both were broken during some parts, requiring guests to walk up/down 14 flights of stairs; clearly unacceptable. The WiFi was mediocre to lousy, inconsistent in speed and dropped out often. Earthquake-induced damage was quite clear in the room: most likely just superficial nonstructural damage, but it is surprising that it has not been repaired in the 10 months since the last quake.
