Oh my gosh! This Comfort Inn & Suites way surpassed my expectation. Updated, clean, friendly, and they thought of the small items. This is probably the best Comfort Inn my family has stayed at. I checked in on Saturday, November 25 about 4:00 p.m. The lady at the counter was very efficient and friendly. She gave us our room keys, told me where everything was at, offered us fresh cookies and pointed out the drink stations and other snacks. The lobby had a lodge theme without being over the top. Our room was on the 3rd floor on the back side of the hotel. The room was clean and spacious. Plenty of plug-ins for my 2 teenage sons' phones and other gadgets, plus my husband & I's. I loved the flooring in the bathroom. It was a hard-wood look laminate, but such a nice change from the freezing ceramic tile. The bathtub had a replacement overlay, so it did make the sidewall high. If you have hip or balance trouble, be sure to ask for an accessible room. All of the linens on the beds and bath towels were in good, solid condition. The towels smelled fresh and had good pile. Each queen sized bed had 4 pillows. There was a comfortable chair at the desk. There was also a refrigerator, microwave, and small coffee pot in our room. The pool and hot tub were very nice. They use salt to clean and sanitize their pool, so it didn't have a strong chlorine smell. The hot tub temperature was perfect, the pool was a little cool for my taste, but the kids liked it fine. Breakfast was good. They had 2 flavors of waffles - regular and cinnamon maple, that was nice (loved the cinnamon maple!), they had eggs, sausage, breakfast potatoes, and biscuits and gravy. They also had assorted pastries, bread for toast, oatmeal, cold cereals, cold boiled eggs, and yogurt. Juices and coffee. I really liked that they truly take waste conservation seriously and used real plates and real flatware rather than disposable. I would think this would also help cut down on food waste because people think about what they put on their plates if they have to scrape it off. I would highly recommend this Comfort Inn to anyone staying in the Chillicothe area...and actually already have.
This is the best Comfort Inn to stay. Very very clean public areas and rooms. Only 8 years old but looks brand new. Friendly staff. Several who said they have been employed there since opening. Warm cookies at check in. Monday and Wednesday evening light dinners are included.
What are great stay !! The staff is amazing from the front desk team to the maids . Everyone was happy and engaging! The lobby was like a hunting lodge but everything was clean and we'll done. The room was great no issues and the hotel was just and relax ! The management is lucky to have a great time!
We stayed there in early October 2017 on our way to Branson. The stay was excellent!!! The room was clean, the WIFI worked great, the bed was comfy, and the breakfast was good. They had snacks and cookies out in the evening and also grab bags in the morning for folks on the run. I really couldn't find anything to complain about - LOL!!!
Stayed two nights at this hotel and it is very nice. They had a full breakfast in the mornings which was very good. Hotel is quiet and room was very clean. Great to place to stay if you every get to Chillicothe, MO.
this was a 2-Queen room and we used the second bed for our luggage because there were no suitcase racks in the room. It had a refrigerator and a microwave, but that was about it. There wasn't room for anything else. The Breakfast was the typical powdered eggs juice and links, and did not have much of a selection of pastries.
Well to start off the Front Desk folks are very friendly and helped my group get keys and get sent to their rooms. Parking for bus was great, lots of room. The hotel is very clean and neat. My room was spotless! Everything was great except the A/C in my room didn't have the option of keeping the fan on all the time. I was on the highway side of the hotel so it would have been nice to have the fan to drown out the highway noise. Plus it didn't get very cool either. Breakfast area was very nice and clean. A couple of nice ladies kept things running. Food was acceptable for hotel fare. Would I stay again? Sure just not on the highway side!
After 20 days of an on a bus road tour through the Northeast and Midwest we found ourselves at the Chillicothe Comfort Inn. This is by far the best place we have stayed. The staff is courteous, the rooms extra clean, the beds comfortable, and there are extra touches like M&Ms and warm cookies in the lobby. This would be a great place to make home base if you are touring Kansas-Missouri- Illinois! They try extra hard and succeed!
Did not have time to use the pool and hot tub, but they looked nice. Breakfast was good and served with real dinnerware and silverware. Only complaint is the early morning road noise that will me up............,
I have staying in hotel for 47 years and this hotel by far is the nicest thus far. From the moment you drive up to the front door, then when you walk in, it is absolutely amazing just how estecially pleasing and wonderful this hotel really is. Staff are amazingly helpful. Rooms are beautiful and beds are very comfy. Whoever built this hotel did not spare any expenses. We left Newfoundland and Labrador on Canada’s east coast last week and drove right across the United States enroute to our home in Mexico and have stayed at some pretty nice hotels but nothing tops this. I would rate this hotel 5 out of 5 and highly recommend it. Dry quiet hotel as well which is a bonus for us as we drive long distances every day.
