This was my first stay here, my room was very clean. The staff was nice. The bed was comfortable. My room was also very quiet, I didn't hear a peep out in the hallway or any other rooms. I would definately stay here again. The lady taking care of the breakfast in the morning was very efficient and nice.
We stayed at Comfort Inn for 1 night on March 3rd. Staff was very nice and the hotel is very clean. They offer a great breakfast with biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs and sausage patties, waffles, cereal and pastries. Please be ware that this hotel sits right next to Highway so if you have a need for peace and quiet ask them for a room that faces the city and not the highway. It didn't really bother us, but I realize peace and quiet may be needed.
Very clean and updated rooms. The breakfast room was pristine and used real plates. The staff was nice. Wifi was fast. Definitely no complaints, just a suggestion that the workout center is a. It disappointing to those wanting a sweat session while traveling.
We have stayed at this Comfort Inn & Suites once before and loved it!! It's the little things that make a difference. The hand towels folded like an elephant, the M&M dispenser in the lobby and the grab and go breakfast bags are just a few of the extra's. The front lobby was decorated very tastefully with Christmas decorations, which made our arrival very pleasant after a long day of travel. We will definitely stay here again in the future and recommend this Comfort Inn and Suites to ours\ friends.
I have stayed at the InterContinental on the Kansas City Plaza, but I have to say I was far more impressed with the Comfort Inn in Chillicothe. Not only does it look new and shiny, from beautiful lobby to well-maintained room, all the staff were most friendly and accommodating. If felt like home - a very nice home. There is an indoor pool, amazing channel-selection on the TV, good WiFi and free cookies at check-in. The breakfast is hot and good. And, the hotel recycles! Good job! I had a great stay!
This is our favorite place to stay in Chillicothe. It was our second stay. The lobby was decorated beautifully for Christmas. Our room was spacious and very up to date and clean. Our king sized bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed relaxing with a chair and sofa. There was a pool and exercise room which we didn't use. The staff is extremely friendly. An evening "meal" of ham and cheese sliders, potato salad and banana pudding was offered but we didn't partake. There were cookies offered at the check in counter. On another table in the lobby there was a lemonade dispenser, an M & M dispenser, a basket with bags of complimentary trail mix, and a Keurig coffee maker. Very nice touches for a tired traveler. Breakfast was served on real plates with real silverware. There was a nice assortment of breakfast items, both hot and cold.
This large and new (2010) hotel was an excellent surprise. Chillicothe is more or less in the middle of nowhere in north central Missouri. But this hotel was (almost) as good as most four star hotels in big cities. The amenities were extensive, the rooms spacious, the towels and bedding new and crisp, the entire place clean, and the location and parking very convenient. Price was very reasonable. There is no bar or restaurant on the premises but there is an Applebee’s just across the parking lot. Recommended.
This is a great little property.clean, well attended and the staff definitely takes pride in their job. Staff was knowledgeable, courteous and made us feel welcome. Breakfast, on thanksgiving morning was well presented and well attended.
Oh my gosh! This Comfort Inn & Suites way surpassed my expectation. Updated, clean, friendly, and they thought of the small items. This is probably the best Comfort Inn my family has stayed at. I checked in on Saturday, November 25 about 4:00 p.m. The lady at the counter was very efficient and friendly. She gave us our room keys, told me where everything was at, offered us fresh cookies and pointed out the drink stations and other snacks. The lobby had a lodge theme without being over the top. Our room was on the 3rd floor on the back side of the hotel. The room was clean and spacious. Plenty of plug-ins for my 2 teenage sons' phones and other gadgets, plus my husband & I's. I loved the flooring in the bathroom. It was a hard-wood look laminate, but such a nice change from the freezing ceramic tile. The bathtub had a replacement overlay, so it did make the sidewall high. If you have hip or balance trouble, be sure to ask for an accessible room. All of the linens on the beds and bath towels were in good, solid condition. The towels smelled fresh and had good pile. Each queen sized bed had 4 pillows. There was a comfortable chair at the desk. There was also a refrigerator, microwave, and small coffee pot in our room. The pool and hot tub were very nice. They use salt to clean and sanitize their pool, so it didn't have a strong chlorine smell. The hot tub temperature was perfect, the pool was a little cool for my taste, but the kids liked it fine. Breakfast was good. They had 2 flavors of waffles - regular and cinnamon maple, that was nice (loved the cinnamon maple!), they had eggs, sausage, breakfast potatoes, and biscuits and gravy. They also had assorted pastries, bread for toast, oatmeal, cold cereals, cold boiled eggs, and yogurt. Juices and coffee. I really liked that they truly take waste conservation seriously and used real plates and real flatware rather than disposable. I would think this would also help cut down on food waste because people think about what they put on their plates if they have to scrape it off. I would highly recommend this Comfort Inn to anyone staying in the Chillicothe area...and actually already have.
This is the best Comfort Inn to stay. Very very clean public areas and rooms. Only 8 years old but looks brand new. Friendly staff. Several who said they have been employed there since opening. Warm cookies at check in. Monday and Wednesday evening light dinners are included.
