I cannot believe this was rated 9.2 and 4 1/2 stars. 2nd worst stay in months around Asia. Where to begin:
No staff available most of time including Manager or Shift Manager to discuss issues with. No adequate English speaking staff. Asked for mgr at checkout and off property at such a critical time. Asked for email to send but couldn’t provide. I believe it’s fair to address directly with hotel mgr before lambasting online but have no choice.
First night, A/C defaulted to turning off after two hrs (preset for hotel convenience😢). I was comfortable going to bed but room got very hot in middle of night and I kept getting up to turn on. Don’t understand concept of ’thermo’stat I guess. Engineering came up 2nd night and played around in Thai menu and turned timer off in 2 secs.
Half my critical laundry ordered was misplaced until last minute. No urgency day before from entry level staff who couldn’t even reach mgr on call at home. 😡
The pool bar supposedly opened but during those hours NOBODY staffed. I had to go to front desk to have them call kitchen staff to get beer. Of course had to do it again for a 2nd beer. No staff anywhere. How is this 4 1/2 star service? 😢
The location, condition and beautiful pool and setting explain some high marks but not staff.
Most importantly/safety the shower water temp fluctuated dangerously. Even after letting run. From good temp it would get cold. You had to adjust hot up. Then it would change back and nearly scald you 😢.
