Great hotel. Beautiful rooms and very friendly people. The breakfast is outstanding.
We stayed at this hotel for 3 days and we had a great time. The room was spacious and the hotel had plenty of amenities. They provide breakfast all day and they also allowed out to checkout late.
Our stay at U Chaing Mai was a pleasure. The staff, in particular, was attentive without being overly so and every question or request was met with a prompt and smiling response. We were grateful for their assistance with booking our cooking class and our day it the elephant reserve as well as our restaurant dinner reservations, along with transportation to and from all outings. The hotel itself is attractive, very clean and a relaxing place to be after tiring days of adventure. If I went back to Chiang Mai I would stay at the same hotel.
This incredible find is centrally located within the moats and ancient walls of Old Chiang Mai. The extremely helpful staff helped us with our trips to the Elephant Nature park, Basil Cooking School and the zipline tour, Flight of the Gibbon.
This was exactly what we were looking for. Most importantly, the rooms were amazingly comfortable (great beds and showers), quiet, clean and safe, so we got a great rest every night. Secondly, the location was perfect, right in the middle of the old city, along a main street that takes you past tons of great food, many beautiful Buddhist temples, and good shopping in either direction from the hotel. Third, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, assisting us in booking some events and giving us good recommendations. And last, the pool and lounge area is comfortable and quiet, and gives you a great spot to relax if you just want to rest for a little while at some point.
