This hotel is a place I called home for many years. It was operated by a professional lady who had class and really cared about the guests who were staying in her hotel. I had not been back for six years. I look forward to my return to this hotel, but the manager was gone. I don’t have complaints about the room itself, but if they advertise that there is Wi-Fi in each room, then it should be there. I stayed for eight days and the Wi-Fi in the rooms was so poor. I couldn’t even send an email from my room I spent hours in the lobby, keeping in touch with my friends and family back home in Canada. And the staff in the lobby are rude, loud and totally disregard the care of the guests in the hotel. I will never stay in this hotel again. And I am not the only guest who was saying that.

No hot water. There is an elevator that will only stop in between floors so you are still walking up or down 8 stairs to get to your floor. Was given the wrong room twice and the front desk person left

Good for a cheap stay. Wasn’t staffed adequately- no one in the office when ever I went there. Lifts are between floors- so you will still need to lift bags up stairs.

Two nights. Sleept well.

It was what I paid for. Not better not worse. Can come back again, no problemos exept some noicy people in the morning, staff or guest I dont know but they scream instead of talking but that happens a bit everywhere and it is something humans should correct in themself.

The staff pf the hotel very kinf and helpful

The hotel was good, its near the airport, less than 10 min in taxi that will cost you like 1.25 USD. The Staff is very kind and will help you a lot in reserving tours and with everithing you need.

A Nice place to stay in Chiang Mai

This nice hotel locates closed to Chiang Mai Gate and Saturday Night Market. The room is spacious and clean. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Shuttle service to the airport is good. The only inconvenience is that the elevator stops between floors so you still have to climb the stairs a bit. A good place to stay in Chiang Mai to visit this old beautiful town.

We didn't stay at the hotel because no room

Although We booked a twin room at this hotel and paid in full in advance via hotels.com, we wasn't able to stay there. When we arrived around 8pm on the day we booked. They told us they have no room for us. They offered other room in another guest house of theirs that's about 5mins further away by car. But we didn't like it there. Then, finally after some discussion and negotiation, they offered us to in another hotel nearby, which we liked. So it settled this way.

The location is strategic

The location is convenient especially to local market and weekend market. You can easily find food at night but not many choices in the morning. The hotel is very near to hospital hence ambulance is there and it is noisy. It is clean and the room is huge too. You may rent the motorbike and bicycle to tour around the downtown.

Great Hotel for the Price

The location is excellent because it's really close to the south gate. It's easy to explore the old city on foot from here. It's right next to the Saturday night market without suffering from any extra noise. The room was big and clean, we had no complaints. The fridge was really useful and we appreciated the free drinking water each day. The air conditioning and fan cooled the room nicely. There were 2 problems which stopped us giving this place 5/5. 1st, someone's air con unit was dripping outside, so at night you could hear the slow drip drip drip. This was annoying but wasn't loud enough to stop us sleeping. When we reported this, nothing was done. 2nd, a lot of the guests were very noisy with no respect for the other guests. They would typically shout at each other at all times of the morning and night.

Great Value! Clean and Close to the Center

We stayed here mostly because of low room rates and the high user reviews, and we got what we expected. It was very clean, and the air conditioning worked well. The front desk was helpful in providing umbrellas, helping with airport transfers, hailing cabs/estimating cab rates, and with taking our laundry. (We really loved the laundry service, which was again a great value!)

A good hub to everything in Chiang Mai

Excellent staff who will help you with any questions, set up excursions, massage appointments, grab a cab..etc. Super clean. Didn't find a single hair in my room on 3 separate occasions that I stayed there. Conveniently the market is right across the street to buy cheap (and excellent) local food from carts and fresh fruits to bring back to the hotel and keep in the fridge. 20min. walk to Tha phae gate, night bazaar, Sunday walking street but for 20THB you an grab one of those red 'bus/truck' that will take you anywhere you need to go in town.
