I was really happy with my stay. The staff were excellent in attending to check in, daily cleaning, and check out. Very friendly and welcoming. My room 101 was quite large with balcony overlooking the Melia Gardens and was very well priced given the great location. You must check out Lazy Lemon Breakfast Club when staying here given the outstanding breakfasts and lunches! I will return to the Chiang Mai Mansion.
This is basic accommodation. Not a lot to look at but bang for the buck is very good. Very convenient to the night bazaar. Good coffee and street foid very close by. Room is dated but clean. Aircon works perfect. TV is very large with hundreds of channels in many languages. We had to leave on a late bus and the manager was very accommodating to let us stay late for a very small fee. Would stay here again.
When I stayed the power kept shutting off in my room after an hour of having the lights and a/c on. They moved me to another room next door after I reported the power shut off, but same exact thing happened on the other room. I went to front desk and no one was available for reception. What a terrible night!
Nice place, great location (if you ignore the slight alleyway to get to the front enterance). The English isn’t great, so be patient and try to make arrangements prior to arriving I.e late check out etc. Rooms are big, hot water is a bit temperamental.
I came here during the Yi Peng festival, and let me tell you... one of the best seats in the town was on my balcony!!! Since people often go to the bridge near Chiang Mai Mansion to let go of their lanterns, this place had a perfect view for hours on end. I am very thankful that I stayed here. The room was very clean and spacious and it had all the amenities one needs for a short stay! I would stay here again in a heartbeat, especially during Yi Peng! Could they stand to update some stuff here and there... sure! But this place is great for the price!
I was dropped at the end of a dark driveway by my taxi, leading to the hotel. Was suspicious when I entered and they had not seen my reservation but they jumped into action. I was given the biggest hotel room of my life with a bed the size of two king-sized mattresses combined. Perfect comfort. The room has a full sized fridge and a great bathroom. Excellent wifi.
The neighborhood feels very safe and has a few restaurants and bars, along with an organic/GMO free cafe on the corner. The hotel is just a few hundred yards from the Night Bazaar and an even shorter walk to the friendly Muslim neighborhood, Halal Street.
There is no onsite restaurant or bar.
Just down an alley from the night bazaar so quick access to western restaurants, interesting shops and close to Worrorot market. Very clean, rooms are spacious and laundry service on ground floor. Downside is noise from live music at night although it usually stops before midnight.
This is my second time staying in this hotel. The location is perfect to enjoy the Li Peng/Loi Krathong festival because it is less than 5 minutes walk to the Iron Bridge (perfect to view the lanterns and the lighted floats) and to the junction of Tha Phae Rd & Charoen Prathet Rd for the best view of the Nov. 15th parade. I received a free upgrade to one of their best rooms. They also rent motorcycles at the normal rate of 200bt per day.
It was a great stay,I wasn't expecting a room of that size.very clean. And walking distance from the masjid.when ever I stay in Chiang Mai, this hotel is my choice

Liked: Cleanliness
Hotel was still under construction, which, apart from some daytime noise, was not really an inconvenience. It was new and clean. Hotel staff need to be more welcoming and friendly, even just offering a map and some information about the area. We enjoyed our stay and would have stayed longer if there was a better communal area for guests to meet each other and mingle.
Very spacious room. Complete with large windows, couch and coffee table in addition to usual furniture.
Room was clean and quiet. On the down side location is about tem minute walk from old city.
Chambre grande et très propre, personnel très gentils aux petits soins, l'hôtel est super bien placé merci beaucoup pour ce beau séjour! Prenez soin de vous.
