Room was small for the price. Bed was a queen as appose to king. I don't believe king are available at the Cheyenne location at least not the spa suite. Which brings me to another point. The only difference between this room and other rooms is this one had a whirlpool bath, how can this be considered a suite. Will not be staying there again, I will stick to the Hampton.
The staff was very helpful and attentive to our needs. We had a large group of workers for a project in the rail yard. The overnight staff made sure we had breakfast and hot coffee for us before going to work. The lady (Amber) that checked in the first people from our group was very polite and helped to ensure the rest of our group was able to get reservations. Overall, a great hotel with an excellent staff.
Bed lumpy and uncomfortable and it felt like no mattress just springs Half the lights don't work in room so had to make do with just bathroom light Fan in the bathroom not good got so hot in there Fan in the room did not work so room was hot and stuffy
I'm sad this place is slowly starting to go downhill a bit. Not sure what's going on. There's a pothole in the parking lot that has grown into a huge hazardous hole. That's just indicative of the property as a whole. I can tell that unless something changes soon within a year it's not going to be worth staying there. For now it's still the best place in Cheyenne to stay for the value.
First time staying in a Microtel Inn. Very pleased with our stay. This is not a fancy hotel but it is more than comfortable and well kept. The only downside was the approach to the Inn as there were a large pothole and other smaller ones in the drive which set a negative tone as you come in. I mentioned this to the desk clerk and she said the owner was aware. From the size it was apparent it had been there a good while. Other than that, the Inn itself and the staff were both great. I will stay again when we are in Cheyenne WY..
The Microtel Inn has a wonderful, informative, and helpful staff. Rooms were nice and well-appointed. Patrick, Amber & the staff answered all our questions about places to eat, how to get there, weather, you name it, they were there to help. We enjoyed our stay. The continental breakfast was good, fresh coffee during the day, and Amber ensured a fresh flavored(lemon, orange, cucumber) ice water available daily.
The room was VERY Clean. Staff were Excellent! Breakfast iincluded two meats plus usual waffle and cold cereal as well as fruits and donuts. We are rating only three stars because: 1 Bed was not comfortable 2 Cover/blanket was a quilt that had been laundered so much that the squares were all in a lump not much heat and heavy. 3 We stayed on the third floor south facing very quiet but, room had one queen bed and very little room. 4 Thought information said fridge and microwave in each room neither were in our room. 5. Choose this because thought was wyndhams upscale to super 8 etc.
First impression coming from the road is of a modern three-storey hotel with a good car park. In reality it is a very good standard motel - no frills particularly, but well designed and well presented. There is a spacious reception area and a decent sized seating area for the standard motel buffet breakfast. Check-in was swift and easy, and the receptionist was fine once we had cheered her up - she had had a hard day and now had a headache! Our room was not over-large, but entirley adequate. Bith the room and bathroom were clean and well presented. All in all very acceptable
The juice machine was broke and therefore my kids couldn't drink anything and there was no cream cheese for the bagels. Very disappointed.
booked through Travelocity which then went through Expedia. Stayed in the same hotel in Raton NM and it was great. Nothing wrong except they put us in a handicapped room which we did not ask for and it was very awkward with the shower and all. Asked to be moved and they said no cause it was booked through Expedia or would cost more which we were already above our budget. We were there to attend a wedding and on a budget. The ice machine, candy and snacks were right across from us and we heard people getting ice long into the night and morning. Didn'tsleep well the 2nd night at all. Very disapointed with Travelocity, not so much the motel itself.
