Great Location - Central Cheyenne

Vintage delight with the modern amenities you need for a comfy stay. Large kitchen to prep your own meals. Coin-op laundry available in building. Loads of natural light, and great location! Walk to the hospital, Capitol and other State buildings. So close to downtown and the great shops and restaurants there.

This is an upper level apartment with 5 other apartments in the building. There is one next door and one 2 apartments below. There is a nice little patio on the front of the house that is shared with the other guests in the building. Feel free to head out there (in the summer;) with your morning coffee. There isn't Central A/C (although almost any place in Wyoming can be kept comfortable by opening up the window at night, and shutting everything in the morning.
A swamp cooler and portable AC is available seasonally, typically between Memorial Day and Labor Day. The building is close to 100 years old, so typical floor squeaks and "old" building noises may occur. The original claw foot tub/shower is a sweet reminder that this place has been around a long time! Nevertheless, updates have been made where needed to make sure you have a comfortable, modern stay.

The entire apartment is set up for guests. The laundry room is shared with the other guests in the building and is also where we keep all of our supplies. That little patio on the from of the house is available for all guests to enjoy.

We are available by text or phone between 7am and 10pm. If you have an urgent need, don’t hesitate to reach out anytime!

You can see the hospital from the front window! This place is centrally located within 10-15 minutes of ANYWHERE in Cheyenne!

I welcome pets! I do charge a $15 per night per pet fee for a maximum of $150 per stay the day before your arrival. We do ask that you keep all pets off the furniture and keep them crated when you leave the home.

Long term guests staying more than 2 weeks will need to arrange an additional refundable cleaning deposit or schedule regular cleanings during stay (for an additional cleaning fee)

Budget VRBO that can meet your needs. 100 year old house, needs upgrades Good:1.Very affordable. One-third cost of nearby hotel2.VERY responsive when you call3.Sufficient hot water4.Plenty of SpaceThe (possibly) Not Good1.HEAT. 1 HVAC for old 6 unit home, not enough. 2 space heaters (BR & LR). Heater in LR on high blows a breaker (basement) We called, they turned it up 2 degrees via remote access. We set space heater to medium, & it was ok. Some windows are old single-pane. By the end of day 2 we figured out how to keep the place warm2.STAIRS. Don’t like stairs? Skip this3.OLD: everything is pretty old; didn’t bother us4.FURNISHINGS: Sparse, but OK for us. 1 couch, 2 wood chairs. 4 stools in kitchen. No dresser. 1 night stand (an old suitcase) 5.1 TV: not a problem for us6.CLAW TUB: Mobility issues? Getting in or out is a bit of a challenge. Wait a minute after adjusting hot/cold. Plenty of hot water for 2 showers7.BED: my wife liked it, but for me it was too firm. A matter of taste8.CLOSETS: 100 year old houses have lousy closets. We used shelves in hall closet for clothes 9.ELECTRICITY: Use hair dryer at same time as bedroom heater, or put Living room heater on high, you’ll trip the breakerBottom LineIf you can handle these inconveniences, this place is a bargain. Love the nostalgic feel of the building. Great place to stay. Close the rodeo grounds which was great for us...definitely recommend and would love to be back
