Spotless room. Very quiet. Really great staff, the Irish gentleman checking us in is a credit to the company. (Didn’t catch his name 😢). The staff as we left were all delightful too. Great choice of stay after shopping at Cheshire Oaks. Very handy. Food smelt good even though we had already eaten. Would recommend.

Staff lovely, room clean and comfortable, parking easy. BUT… room was close to the corridor fire doors and main doors. Felt like the doors were banging behind our heads every time they closed. Really dreadful night’s sleep meant a super hard day and a difficult drive home the next night. A hotel has one job, a good night’s sleep. Chose to stay here based on the good reviews so if you do stay, but please ask for a room far away from corridor doors and the main doors. Staff kindly asked how we slept, I suggested their manager spend a night in that room. Heard nothing back via email or text despite vast amount of comms prior to stay. Hoping a guest having no sleep would rate highly on their radar. It appears not.

Everything the staff on were so helpful, had a problem with the first ev changing bay but thankfully there was a spare, what’s annoying is people parking that clearly do not charge their car or have petrol park there because it’s closer to the hotel very frustrating, otherwise was perfect stay

We had a lovely two-night weekend stay at Super 8 Chester. The location was spot-on for visiting the Christmas Markets in both Chester and Manchester, and having McDonald’s, Costa, and Co-op right next door made everything even more convenient. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and ideal for a festive weekend base. If we’d had a bit more time, we could have explored even more — but for what we managed, it was just right. A great stay overall!
