Needed to be closer to a venue for an early morning start. Perfect for location and price. Supermarket and coffee shop on the same site really handy. Basic accomadation, but comfortable and clean - everything I needed for an overnight stay at a really great price.
I stayed here at the beginning of April 2018. The lady on reception when we arrived was lovely... but our bathroom in our room was awful. The bedroom was okay but the bathroom was disgusting. On the side next to the sink was all what I presume was (hopefully) old toothpaste stains that just needed a wipe to remove... the toilet flush was so temperamental it hardly worked and the shower head was SO filthy it almost made me feel dirtier standing underneath it. Also our bathroom bin was still half full with the last guests rubbish.... gross. And when we put the towel on the floor to stand on after the shower it was instantly marked with brown stains from touching the floor. Definitely needs to improve their cleaning
Stayed 24 march 2018 for one night. We had an accessible room as I use a wheelchair. I managed a bath as it was low, however the grab rail was not situated in a place where you could get out safely so my husband had to get me out. In the morning my husband had to hold me whilst I had a shower as yet again there was not sufficient grab rails around this area. The rest of the rooms were ok but the bathroom needs a walk in shower or more grab rails to make it accessible.
Booked in for one night on recent trip to Chester. We had the family room with two double beds. Not very clean, hair in the beds and blood on the sheets, Very basic and dated, walls thin and very noisy. Beds soft with one very soft pillow - hardly managed to get any sleep. They also now allow pets in rooms - we didn't find out till we got there. Won't be using again.
Hotel as expected for a motorway services. But everything you need and clean and comfortable. Wi-fi a pain to connect when two/three appliances. Why not just leave open to save hassle.
Smell as soon as we entered the room of sewerage, later that night finding moisture coming through bathroom floor tiles, room 7
The good bits - the room, the assistance from the staff with our bags, and the location. The bad bits - we arrived after 9pm and the adjacent eating facilitie shad almost all shut down so the first meal on our trip was a sandwich purchaed and teh bottle of New Zealand Sauvignon we had brought with us. The result - we survived and I surpose that is all we realy beeded.
Stayed here as we were attending a party close by and had struggled to get anywhere cheap on a sat night. It’s easy access from both sides of the motorway, has various places to eat on the services and this is being done up so more to come. Check in was easy, friendly gent on reception. Rooms were big and clean, comfy bed and powerful shower...we needed no more for £61. It did exactly what we expected at possibly better standards than we had thought.
Overall this was a very good deal for what i paid. Positives are its near Cbeshire oaks, check in was easy and the main room is clean and comfy. The negatives are the bathroom was dirty (tiles were anyway) the walls were very thin i could hear any noise from next door. Bed was comfy, there is a petrol station and Spa next door for convenience. I stayed here as hotels nearer cheshire oaks were full (Black Friday weekend) i would probably not stay here again but it wasnt that bad
This hotel was cheap but I've stayed in far better ones for the same sort of money. The bed and bathroom were clean but after a quick glance around my room I soon realised how dirty it was. Clearly the vacuum cleaners do not reach the edge of the carpets or see the underside of the bed very often. Generally, the place looked quite tired and dated. I'm unlikely to stay there again but will say that this hotel is not typical of Days Inns which I have stayed in elsewhere.
