Room was not as advertised.
A couple of issues with the room. Couldn’t be addressed so staff discounted my bill. Much construction in the neighborhood, bd prepared. Older hotel, but generally in decent shape and clean.
Check in was a breeze. The front desk staff were warm and inviting as well as helpful and efficient. Beautiful interior! The exterior leaves a little to be desired but do not judge this book by its cover. Easy for Uber to find us for fun exploring of DC!

Very nice place. Convenient location if you have a car—not so good if you are on foot.
The property was clean and the staff was friendly! This hotel is in a great location with easy access to many sites.
The room was so very dusty it gave me a cold. The shower cycled between freezing cold and scalding hot unpredictably. Our neighbors woke us up screaming drunk at 3 in the morning. I called the front desk about it, but they continued to yell intermittently till 5 in the morning.
I didn't enjoy my short stay here. The shower faucet came apart while I was showering and I injured my foot trying to get out of the shower because water exploded everywhere. The maintenance tech came in and screwed it in but the water pressure was very low. The bathroom was poorly cleaned, and the bed didn't look spotless. I also had an unpleasant encounter with the bar host and she accused me of not paying for my breakfast. She treated those who look different than me and my partner completely differently than she treated us. We even had to ask for a top for our coffee cup and she put little to no effort into servicing us. I was extremely disappointed because I had a pleasant interaction with the dinner staff the night before. This was completely unacceptable.

The view from our room on the eighth floor was amazing. I especially loved the parking garage that didn’t make guests pay extra. Thank you!
