Close to all the places we wanted to see plus close to the casino and downtown

My wife and I were put in a handicapped room at the ground floor - it felt like a third world country hospital room. The first thing I've noticed was a bad smell - some bleach or cleaning chemical - very strong. We were happy that we are in Cherokee and we tried to ignore these things, however each single day both of us had headaches. I am pretty much sure these headaches were caused by evaporation of these cleaning chemicals The bathroom door was making such a terrible cracking breaking noise on every opening. The pool is a joke, I was naive enough to bring my swimming goggles :-). Breakfast was not 'hot' but OK, I liked waffles. All in all I would not recommend this place.

A really nice hotel-after an evening out for a holiday concert I left an item at the hotel and was able to retrieve it the next day. The staff was very helpful finding the item that was inadvertently left in the room.

Very very very pet friendly. My dog and I felt like everyone was there just for us. Robert and Spence could not have been more helpful. The brand new girl at the front desk went beyond excellent service as she help me print my fishing permit and got me on the right track towards my destination. The waffles and other food was very good. Keeping the coffee and juices open 24/7 in an improvement over your competition. Knowing I was going fishing at 6:30am he suggested he extend my checkout until noon. The desk said she had billed me for and extra day she we to bat for me and got the second day credited. Suffice it up say when I return to Cherokee I will stay with y'all. PS the system shows your address as dr not trail. Gps takes you to the casino

hotel was clean, nice, breakfast was fair, location was great for us, price was fair for the area

front desk personnel were terrific...needed car service and was told where to go for service...great service and great price...breakfast was also terrific...overall facilities were great..all personnel were helpful and courteous...had a great trip.

This property is nicely located a half mile from Cherokee and Harrah's Casino The staff was friendly and helpful with direction.

We checked in after playing a sweaty round of golf, intending to all take showers and then head to the casino. They didn't have any extra towels so things got awkward. Other than that, the room was nice and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the sound from people nearby didn't travel. It's not quite across the street from the casino like I thought it would be, but it was still sufficient in giving us a place to crash at 2 am.

Nice hotel for a weekend visit to the mystical Quallah Boundary. Favorite feature of the hotel besides the comfortable queen-sized beds are the rocking chairs in front of the building. Spent two pleasant evenings rocking in the chairs after a full day at Oconaluftee Island Park. Perfectly located near downtown (take the road leading to Harrah's and take a left). No frills, nice experience, nice people.

Staff was friendly, room was nice when we got there. When we returned the next day the linen in the room was not fully re-supplied, (towels, wash cloths soap and shampoo. Also coffee and cups). Second morning upon return trash not emptied , shampoo, bath mat were missing and asked for coffee. I did not ask what the extra charge was, We just left knowing we'll not be back. Richard.

No non skip mat for tub. No bathroom counter space. Loud dog barking across our room.

I chose this hotel because I wanted a room with a separate sitting area from the bedroom. The floor plan was very good and met my needs. The TV remote did not work and it was a wall mounted flat panel. Good thing I was tall enough to reach the on set controls. I reported this to the front desk and we tried two different remotes without any luck. It was not fixed during our visit. The room phone did not appear to work either as I had tried to call the front desk about the TV remote and was not able to connect. In short, the electronics need some work. Wi-Fi was adequate but a bit spotty. Breakfast was OK, adequate choices, fresh and ample quantity. Stayed here two nights and I would recommend it. FYI, pet friendly but we did not have a pet.

Everything was clean and room was nice and cool. Shower water pressure was good and hot. Room safe gave me a little issue late at night and staff was in my room within 10 minutes to solve this problem. Close to everything in town.

The previous day maid forgot to replenish the shower towels in the bathroom, but wasn't an issue for us to request when we needed them. You know how there's wasted space above and around the heating/cooling units? Well, this room had a wide cushion with pillow and side drawers surrounding, making a window seat and an additional place for a kid to sleep, which I thought was cool.

My daughter and I just wanted to do an overnight vacation. We choose Cherokee NC because it was close to home. The hotel was nice and close to the casino. Kelly was at the desk when we checked in. She was really nice. We would stay again.

Conveniently located to food and shopping. Great staff!

Very nice, clean and modern. Less than a mile to casino. Comfortable room.

TV was all fuzz, couldn't see the channels, told the front desk, they told me to wiggle the wires. Yell as if that worked. Then Sat. night was a puppy or dog down the hall, barking for 3 soild hours. Told the front desk but that was a waste of time. Would not ever stay there again don't advise anyone else to.

Clean room, friendly staff, great breakfast. Would stay here again.

THIS WAS A GREAT HOTEL EVERYONE WAS SO NICE THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN AND THE MOST WONDERFUL THING ABOUT THIS HOTEL:THEY WERE PET FRIENDLY,AND THEY LOVED ALL PETS!!!!
