Taxi service costing about 15 rupees per kilometer is available around the clock at twelve taxiways outside the passenger terminals. A gratuity of 10 percent is expected, and many drivers accept American dollars. Alternatively, travelers can rent a private vehicle from vendors located on level one of the main concourse. Some nearby hotels run shuttles to and from the airport.
