Many first time visitors who fly to Buffalo New York are struck by the magnificent skyscrapers that adorn the skyline of the city, with the Art Deco City Hall and the Liberty Building among them. The City Hall building is one of the tallest municipal buildings in the US and among the most-photographed sites in Buffalo. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The nearby Neoclassical Liberty Building is topped by two replicas of the Statue of Liberty. The statues were added after World War I. Visitors with an interest in history should also visit the Buffalo and Erie County Naval and Military Park.
