Great If You Have Pets and/or Need Long-Term Stay

My stay here was great. They have large carts that help with bringing in belongings, and a Food Lion grocery store right across the parking lot to shop at. The kitchen could use some updated kitchen utensils and pots/pans but it was adequate to cook a few meals. My sofa was very uncomfortable because the cushions angled down a lot, but there was an armchair that was usable. The bed was a little softer than average and comfortable. I had internet issues (only in my room), and the staff went above and beyond to fix it. Seems like a place with some long-term tenants and some short-term. No noise complaints from tenants or roads. I did occasionally hear a train horn, but it wasn't super close. This property is pet-friendly.

Room wasn’t very clean. Some tables hadn’t been wiped down. Dishes were still In dishwasher and they didnt look clean. Furniture was uncomfortable.

Actaully we did not stay at Stay Apt Suites. We found out four days before the stay that our reservations was cancelled. We had called on Monday to pay for the rooms only to be told the they dont have any rooms for us. We had confimed and booked two rooms months in advance. This was the second time, they cancelled the rooms. The last time we did not know until we arrived to check-in that Sorry, but Stay Apt Suites needs to do a better job of communicating. I would not be booking at Stay APt Suite again. Andrew

The apartments are spacious and clean. Comfortable bed and pillows. The area the hotel is in leaves much to be desired as it's all fast food and there's no place nice to walk.

Property was nice and the staff was very nice. Mary the housekeeper was very helpful and nice. The sofa bed was very, very dirty. No sheets or pillowcases and there was food and trash in the mattress. I cleaned it up and went downstairs to get sheets and pillowcase.

We stayed at this hotel on our return trip from Florida. We don't need fancy but we do require clean and safe. I called ahead the day prior to ask if a pack and play was available. Deb was absolutely fantastic and her customer service was top notch on the phone, letting me know she had one for use. When we arrived, check in was relatively swift and we went immediately to check out our room before loading up all of our stuff to bring it inside from our vehicle. Upon entering the room, it had a musky odour and we could tell the cleaning job was sub par. No biggie, we travel with Lysol wipes so I could clean up fairly quickly. Upon entering the bedroom, immediately upon looking at the bed, it appeared made but the sheets and bedding were covered with hundreds of little black dog hairs. I went and spoke with reception and she apologized and said she would send someone to change the bedding immediately; which she did. The floors were filthy and upon wiping the counters, my Lysol wipes were nasty. We were exhausted and just wanted to sleep. As my husband and I started to set up the pack and play for our baby, we realized it was missing its legs/wheels and could not be used as it would not unfold properly. This sucked because it should have been looked at prior to putting it in our room. There was no other for use. This suite has SUCH potential, if only the cleanliness standards were taken up quite a few notches. We would definitely stay here again if that was addressed.

Booked a room for my mother in law to stay when she went to her room not only was it not cleaned it had fleas. A lot of fleas and dirty underwear in the closet. The receptionist was not kind and very forceful in communication. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!

Cockroaches!!!! I can overlook a lot of things. For example, one partial roll of toilet paper with no backups and bone-dry soap and shampoo dispensers. But I CANNOT overlook or bounce back from cockroaches in our bedroom, bathroom, kitchen.
