Kathy's Kottage. Bungalow on the side of Missionary Ridge, Furry Friends Welcome

This house build in 2017, one story,has all the amenities! There is a 2 dog limit and a pet fee. My insurance will not allow pit bulls, chows, Rottweilers or dobermans, or any of these mixed breeds. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. It has a laundry room. The hall bath has a tub/shower combo. Tile floors throughout. A romantic fireplace is in the living room. Smoking is allowed on the huge front porch, where you can relax and let your worries float away! Behind the house there is a fire pit, too. The Battle of Missionary Ridge was fought on these grounds. I have found bullets, cannon balls, and shot while digging in the flower beds. I live across the street and the garden is located behind the "eyeball" wall. It is on old 3 tiered garden with 2 ponds. Sit on the bench and listen to the Mermaid fountain splash as the goldfish swim leisurely about. The birds will help you leave your troubles behind or swing and just remember times gone by. You will enjoy fabulous views of downtown and watch the sunset behind Lookout Mountain. There is a 2 dog limit with a FENCED IN BACK YARD. There are 2 other short term rentals on the same block, Gray Gables and Ridgedale Roost, if you need multiple houses for big events. Come and see the flowering bulbs in the spring! I can not offer a military discount.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a balcony. There's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms and a dining area. Guests can enjoy a TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a fenced private yard.

Great rental in a good location. Everything was clean and ready for us when we got there and the communication with the host made checking in and out a breeze. Super close to downtown and close but not too close to the freeway which made getting out of the city super quick.

This is the perfect little house in a great area. Very clean and the host is so amazing. This has been one of my favorite rentals ever. The kids were even in love with it. Definitely saved it to come back.

We have stayed in Tammy‘s properties several times. As always the house was very clean and ready for us when we got there. The check-in process is very easy. Tammy responds to messages very quickly. The property is pet friendly. It’s an excellent location if you were going to anything at Mccallie It’s easy to get downtown also. I highly recommend that you check out her gardens when you’re there. It’s a great place to watch a sunset.

The home appeared newly renovated and was very well done. It was perfect for our needs, clean, well appointed, and was very close to all of the activities we wanted to do while there. Communication was excellent and was very clear and timely. We hope to get back to Chattanooga and will definitely look to stay again.

This is without a doubt the best home we have stayed in. It was very clean and well stocked with everything you could imagine, as if someone lived there. Very comfortable beds. The perfect place for dogs and children. Lots of games and toys. Tammy lives across the street and is always around since she owns other rentals on the street. Very convenient location. I hope to stay in her one bedroom home when I come to visit my granddaughter who will be attending UTC. It will be a great place for families coming to graduation and needing lots of room. I just can’t say enough good things about it.

Loving home. Nice area for dog and owner was near by and reachable for all needs. You can find everything you needed in this home. Games for kids, playground and nice yard. Me and my family will only be looking to stay at this location for every visit to Chattanooga.

If I could have given more than 5 stars I would have. To start, anything you could possibly need is there for entertainment, for babies/children, & even some stuff for our fur babies. There is plenty of space and a welcoming comfortable cozy vibe while also being clean with so many towels and pillows. The real prize was the gardens the owner has obviously spent years of hard work and love cultivating it into a wonderful surprise with stunning views. If you love nature and art this is the place for you. If you like charming and cozy this is your place too. Can’t recommend enough!!!

It is a pretty spacious home, conveniently located near all the places we wanted to visit. There was plenty of room for all six of us to roam through the house freely. There was a discrepancy with price….the VRBO site says no hidden fees, but then added them to the cost once we booked. We went ahead and kept the booking because of the proximity to everything. Host has a playground for the kiddos and a nice garden to view, as well as several books to read and games to play.
