Nice, clean hotel. Nice little town. No noise, decent breakfast. They also have free soup in the evening.
The hotel is recently renovated. Locals were disappointed I chose this hotel, but it was strategically located, close to 401 and because it was renovated it was really very nice. My window looked out on a meadow and the next morning there was a flock of Canadian geese under my window. Forgot I was in the city.
Staff is extremely friendly and helpful! When I was disappointed about no elevator, I could upgrade to ground floor. When I needed some forgotten items, they were delivered to my door. Super helpful!
Checked in on Friday in town for a Gordon Lightfoot concert. Staff was friendly and informative. Suggested lunch down at Erieau at Molly and OJ's, which we found to be a great place to eat. The Comfort In is not long on amenities but is comfortable and had everything we needed in the room. The breakfast was very good but the area to eat in is not very roomy. Still overall we had a good experience.
