This was our first stay and we really enjoyed it. We had a double and pullout / sofa bed. The air conditioning was very effective and the room very quiet. The swimming pool facilities are fantastic and a real highlight of a stay. We'd have appreciated longer hours for our kid to be able to use the indoor pool (perhaps lunchtime when the pool is a lot emptier). I'd suggest relaxing the hours in off-season also. Breakfast was satisfactory. We also enjoyed using the ping pong table. It's located about a 30 mins walk from centre of Chatelaillon / train station and we walked it. There is a bus stop outside the hotel that takes you all the way to La Rochelle. All in all, we intend to return next year.

Lovely hotel, but...

Lovely hotel with great amenities (pool, spa...). Very good breakfast too. The only thing that let the hotel down was the restaurant - pricey and surprisingly mediocre food at dinner

Perfect for a night stop on our slow drive home from Spain. A super location 1 minute walk to the beach and dog friendly. Spar facilities and pool excellent and great evening meal and wide choice of food for the inclusive buffet breakfast.

Sea view and wellness treat!

Easy check-in/check-out Nice room with view of the sea and the outside pool terrasse We reserved a table at the restaurant that evening, fairly basic menu but something for everyone and reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Breakfast the following morning was also fine. The pool/wellness centre was excellent - we loved it and want to return to the hotel to make more use of it. We thought the sanitary measures in place were appropriate without being draconian. The only minor issue we had was with the car park. We arrived on a sunny Sunday afternoon and the car park was full of non-hotel guests. By 19h, there was plenty of space and we were able to move our car closer...and it really wasn't a problem. It would be better if there were signs saying the car park was for hotel guests only. Other than that, we had a great stay and would certainly recommend.

Beautiful hotel and lovely location

We pick this hotel especially for our dog and the beautiful setting. It’s right beside the beach for lovely walks. The room was very clean and the lobby area deco was very chic. Breakfast was basic continental, but offered freshly squeezed orange juice which was a plus. It was a shame the pool, wellness area was not open as they were still finishing the new renovations for the hotel as it looked very good. However, we would definitely stay again.

Clean and tidy

Enjoyed it thoroughly, not far from a very sandy beach. About a 15 minute walk into the town with some lively restaurants. Hotel itself was kept very clean and tidy. Things I could complain about .. scraping the barrel but the shower head and rail were loose. No kettle in room. Breakfast a tad on expensive side although there was more than enough to eat, tasty, etc. Well done IBIS

Ibis: the expensive Ryanair of the hotel industry

Two nights in what seemed like a two star hotel which was at least twenty mins walk from any life for an incredibly expensive rate a night! Ridiculous. Especially when things like breakfast and the spa were not included in that price! I was so angry when they charged me a small fortune extra to use the swimming pool (which is fairly standard and nothing fancy) and they handed me a fairly hefty bill for 4 breakfasts on checkout! Terrible hotel. Don't bother if you are staying in this area you may as well get ripped off somewhere else. The only saving grace was the staff who were friendly and helpful.

Il semblerait qu'il y ai des différences de traitement entre les clients Accor et ceux qui ont réservés leur chambres via d'autres sites. Hôtel 3 étoiles mais pas de bouteille d'eau, de mouchoirs et de coffre-fort dans les chambres. Emplacement de l'hôtel, déco du site et spa au top! Petit déjeuner et restaurant à améliorer...

Super sejour belle chambre vue mer. Piscine et spa très agréable. Menu plat du jour très bien. Accepte les animaux. Le personnel est disponible et à l'écoute. C était une période calme. A proximité promenade sur la plage. 2 nuits auraient été mieux pour pouvoir plus profiter des installations.
