2026 Beach Update: The City of Isle of Palms is carrying out a beach renourishment project, expected to move along the beach in sections between summer and fall 2026. Because crews work steadily down the shoreline, any impact to a specific area is temporary, and the beach stays open with access outside active work zones. A final schedule hasn't been released yet — we're tracking updates and are happy to provide guidance based on your travel dates. Freshly updated in 2024, D101 is clean, well-appointed, and fully equipped for a seamless stay. The fully equipped kitchen, comfortable king bed, and open layout make it easy to settle in, and the oceanfront pool is just outside. Port O’ Call sits within Wild Dunes, putting the beach, golf, bike trails, spa, and the restaurants and shops of IOP, Sullivan’s Island, and historic Charleston within easy reach.

Whether you’re waking up to the sound of the ocean, floating in the pool at sunset, or driving into Charleston for a dinner out, D101 puts everything right where you need it.

Port O’ Call D101 guests have exclusive access to the Port O’ Call oceanfront pool. Please note that the pools at the Boardwalk Inn, Sweetgrass Inn, and Sweetgrass Fitness Center are reserved for resort hotel guests only and are not available to vacation rental guests. Wild Dunes does not have a central pool open to all visitors — pool access is specific to your community.

🏋️ Fitness

The fitness center at Wild Dunes is reserved for resort hotel guests only. We recommend the Isle of Palms Recreation Center as a fantastic alternative — featuring a cardio room, fitness classes, and brand new courts just a quick drive down Palm Blvd.

🎾 Tennis & Pickleball

Pay-to-play court time is available at the Wild Dunes Tennis Center. We also recommend the free tennis and pickleball courts at the Isle of Palms Recreation Center — just a quick drive down Palm Blvd!
